'Onai Bonai Khumtai' Full and Half Marathon on Sunday............A full #marathon on a national level is being organised in a rural area for the very first time. With an aim to develop and promote the agriculture and rural tourism sectors, the 'Onai Bonai Khumtai' marathon is being organised in #Golaghat's #Khumtai area on Sunday, Nov 13. A festive atmosphere prevails at Melamora in Khumtai in anticipation. The marathon is being held as part of the 'Destination Khumtai' programme. There will be two categories- 42 and 21 kms. 'Onai Bonai Khumtai- Full and Half Marathon' is being organised by "Adyan" under the banner of "Mind over Miles" and Race Directors and Ambassadors from different parts of the country are already assembled here for tomorrow's event.#assam

MLAs began to demand time from Speaker Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri to debate farmers' difficulties in the Assembly when the Congress leader made the obscene remark. Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri responded by asking how he could run the Session if everyone was given equal time.
