'ಇಶಿ' ಎಂದರೆ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತಿ, ಅಪ್ರಾಪ್ಯ, ಮಾತೃಕೆ ಎಂಬ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖವಿದೆ. ನಮಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಿನ ಅಧಿದೇವತೆ 'ಚಾಮುಂಡೇಶ್ವರಿ'( ದುರ್ಗಾದೇವಿ).
