The study titled ‘Financial Inclusion of Domestic Maids’ was conducted in the month of December 2022 in the Upper Indira Nagar area of Pune city by VUCCD. The group of 48 women participated in the study. All of them work as domestic housemaids and come from lower economic strata. The class and caste intersections make them vulnerable to exploitation in all forms.

When the generation to generation has devoted their life in band but now because of Dhol Tasha Pathak and DJ system no one is really interested to call them in there happy moments. One who has learnt nothing other than band and the person who is finding it hard to adjust in this.

Dear all,

We at the Vishwakarma University’s Center of communication are delighted to present to you an 84-page occasional paper authored by Prof Dr Kiran Thakur on the 150th death anniversary of James Thomas Molesworth, the editor of the Marathi-English dictionary. Our Vice-Chancellor, the Dean and colleagues supported this novel concept for paying homage to JT Molesworth.
This was our way to pay tributes to the great dictionary editor who published the dictionary some 164 years ago. We felt every Marathi reader and writer is indebted to him for his contribution to the development of our language. Dr Thakur authored the occasional paper on Molesworth and his work and urged journalists to join in to pay homage to him on his 150th death anniversary on July 13, 2021, by publishing a tribute to him in their columns.

Journalists from Hindustan Times, Sakal, Maharashtra Times, Loksatta, Pudhari from Pune, and Divya Marathi and Sakal of Solapur joined with a wide coverage of the man and his mission.
