IFFCO TOKIO GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY PAYS RS 94.13 LACS TO CLAIMANTS AT NATIONAL LOK ADALAT HELD AT DISTRICT COURT POONCH

Poonch, September 14: IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance Company has settled 12 cases at the 3rd National Lok Adalat held at the District Court Poonch, paying a total of Rs 94.13 lacs to claimants.

The cases were heard by the 1st bench, with Advocate Manish Sharma representing IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance Company under the guidance of Abhilash chander, Legal head Rashmi Singh, Abhishek Kujur,Neha Agarwal.

The National Lok Adalat, a platform for amicable settlement of disputes, saw 12 matters being taken up and compromised to the tune of Rs 94.13 lacs.

This settlement demonstrates IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance Company's commitment to customer satisfaction and its dedication to resolving disputes through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

Voter Awareness Through Sports: Kabaddi Competition Held at MA Stadium Jammu

Jammu, September 14, 2024: A unique initiative to create voter awareness and participation through sports was organized at MA Stadium Jammu, where a Kabaddi competition was held under the aegis of SVEEP (Systematic Voter's Awareness and Electoral Participation).

The program was a collaborative effort between the District Administration Jammu, J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, and the J&K Sports Council. Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sh. Sachin Vaishya (IAS), was the chief guest, and he urged sportspersons and eligible voters to exercise their franchise and participate in the electoral process.

The event was coordinated by Sh. Ranjeet Kalra, UT Level Election Icon, and was attended by other dignitaries, including Sh. Thakur Sher Singh, JKAS, Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Sh. This collaborative and innovative approach aims to engage the youth and encourage them to take part in the democratic process. By leveraging the power of sports, the initiative seeks to promote voter awareness, registration, and participation, said Ranjeet Kalra. Kalra also expressed gratitude to Sh Kuldeep Gupta and Dr Nitan Sharma for their overwhelming support to the event.

SVEEP Voter Awareness Program Held at GDC Bishnah in Collaboration with GS Sports Club.

Jammu, 12th September: In a bid to promote voter awareness and participation, an impactful SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) program was organized at Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah in collaboration with GS Sports Club. The event was graced by the presence of prominent dignitaries and featured a range of activities aimed at inspiring civic responsibility and enthusiasm for voting among students and the local community.

The chief guest of the event was Ranjeet Kalra, UT Level Icon for Assembly Elections, whose words encouraged the audience to embrace the power of their vote. The event was hosted by Dr. Shallu Samyal, Principal of GDC Bishnah, who expressed her gratitude to all participants and collaborators for their contribution to the cause of voter awareness.

A series of engaging activities were conducted to make the event interactive and memorable. These included a signature campaign where participants pledged to vote, a "Selfie as a Proud Voter" initiative to capture the enthusiasm of new voters, a skit focused on voting awareness, a voting pledge, and a thrilling volleyball match that highlighted the spirit of teamwork and unity.

Key members of the GDC faculty and GS Sports Club who were present and contributed to the success of the event included Prof Shruti rajput , Bunny Sadotra,Romesh ,Gourav etc

The event concluded with a medal distribution ceremony, where all participants were honored for their active involvement and contribution to the program. This initiative reaffirmed the commitment of GDC Bishnah and GS Sports Club to fostering a responsible, aware, and empowered electorate.
