60 years have passed since the formation of Kerala. In the last 60 years, the state of Kerala has undergone several changes. The development strategy pursued in these 60 years did put Kerala on par with the First World economies in the matter of social indicators of growth such as infant mortality, literacy, life expectancy, population growth and so on. To compliment the transformational phase of
the young state, TRANDMS and MAS Media nurtured the idea of the business leadership awards to recognize leaders who create and sustain entrepreneurial initiatives, develop best practices, engage in social empowerment and carve out powerful businesses. The recipients of the awards are not only visionaries behind today's outstanding businesses but also benefactors of mankind with their exemplary contribution to social causes. They are stellar individuals who epitomize strength, ingenuity, knowledge, foresight and who drive the growth of their businesses with vision and inspiration. The award aims to recognize leaders who have made the difference, creating an edge above peers. The first edition of the award comprises of achievers nominated and short listed by a panel of social observers and industry experts. We are very proud that our jury members have put in a lot of research and ground works to select the awardees for this Edition 1 of the prestigious award in 2016.
