ദർശന ശേഷം പത്മനാഭൻ ശയിക്കുന്ന ക്ഷേത്ര സമുച്ഛയവും,
നിലാവിലയിഞ്ഞ പത്മതീർത്ഥകുളവും അതിലെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളും, എന്തൊരു നിശബ്ദത ! വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ മുരൾച്ചയില്ല, പുകപടലങ്ങളില്ല ,നാഴിക പിന്നിടുമ്പോഴുള്ള മേത്തൻ മണിയുടെ പ്രൗഢ നാദം മാത്രം, ഇരണ്ട വെളിച്ചത്തിലും ഈ നഗരം എത്ര സുന്ദരി!

கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டம் கணபதிபுரத்தில் உள்ள மறைந்திருக்கும் கடற்கரையான லெமூர், கடல் மற்றும் கரையின் அழகால் மினி தாய்லாந்து என்று பெயர் பெற்றது, வெளிர் நீல நிற கடல் நீர் மற்றும் சர்க்கரை தானியங்கள் போன்ற வெள்ளை மணல் தானியங்கள் ஆகியவை சுற்றுலாப் பயணிகளை ஈர்க்கின்றன. பேச்சிப்பாறை அணை நீர் அரபிக்கடலில் கலப்பதால், இங்குள்ள கடலின் நிறம் மாறியுள்ளது.

கடற்கரைக்கு செல்லும் வழியில், தென்னை மரங்கள், கேரளாவுக்கு அயல்நாட்டு, நம்மைப் பார்த்து, கயிறு தொழிற்சாலைகள் மற்றும் உமிகளை ஊறவைப்பதற்கான குளங்கள் ஆகியவற்றைக் காணலாம்.
