Saharia Teachers' Training College, Tangla Observed Gandhi Jayanti and International Day of Non-Violence on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji, "Father of Nation" for the theme of 2023- "Swachhata Hi Seva" by taking "Panch Pran Pledge" and "Swachhta Pledge" and by doing Cleanliness Drives (Inside & Outside Campus) at R. C. Saharia Teachers'Training College, Tangla on 02.10.2023. Student ,Teaching and Non- Teaching Staff actively participated in this activity.

The Ramesh Chandra Saharia Educational Trust organized the 23rd Ramesh Chandra Saharia Memorial Lecture on Late Ramesh Chandra Saharia’s 40th death anniversary at R C Saharia Teachers Training College, Tangla on 8th February 2022.

Shri Biswajit Daimary, Hon’ble Speaker, Assam Legislative Assembly was the chief guest for the memorial function. Shri Biswajit Daimary, Hon’ble Speaker, Assam Legislative Assembly also inaugurated the New Library cm Auditorium Complex of R C Saharia Teachers Training College named in the memory of Lambodhar Saharia, Father of Late Ramesh Chandra Saharia who had a major contribution in developing Tangla Area since he settled here in early part of 20th century. The memorial lecture on “National Education Policy 2020” was delivered by Dr. Kamala Kanta Borah, Principal, Mangaldai College.

On this occasion, Smti Mridula Saharia, Author, Ramesh Chandra Saharia Educational Trust inaugurated the newly sculptured bust of Late Ramesh Chandra Saharia which was sculpted by Mr. Chandi Charan Boro.

The Ramesh Chandra Saharia Educational Trust organized the 21st Ramesh Chandra Saharia Memorial Lecture on Late Saharia’s 38th death Anniversary on 8th February 2020 at R. C. Saharia Teacher’s Training College, Tangla under the Presidentship of Smti Mridula Saharia, Author of R. C. Sahria Educational Trust. The Memorial lecture 0n “Quality Education and Preparing Teachers for the 21st Century” was delivered by Dr. Partha Phukan Mahanta, Principal, Rangia T. T. College, Rangia. Prof. Idris Ali, Retd. Professor, Mangaldai College delivered the inaugural address. Dr. Buddhin Hazarika, Principal, Kharupetia College also spoke on the occasion. The memorial ceremony was also addressed by Dr. Dipankar Saharia, Managing Trustee of R. C. Saharia Educational Trust, Tangla. Today the Trust felicitated Ms. Mridusmita Nath for securing 1st position in B.Ed. 2nd Year (Final) Examination 2019 from R. C. Saharia T. T. College, Tangla.
