Esteemed Sir,
How we feed our families . How we buy medicines for our ailing parents/ children's and ourselves. How we save our families and ourselves from this life consuming disease Covid- 19. We are 344 casual labour's working in tourism department Kashmir from many years. Tourism department have stopped the salaries of 330 casual labour's from July 2014, out of 344 casual labour's without any govt order. Govt have issued a order on 17 March 2015 regarding complete ban on engagement of new casual labour's but unfortunately our wages have been stopped by DTK without any formal order. Please help us in releasing our pending wages. When Tourism department Kashmir is releasing the wages of 14 casual labours why our wages are withheld having same status like above 14 casual labour's. We brought our issue / matter into the notice of all j&k administration but nobody cares.
With great regards and honour, we the casual labours of Tourism Department Kashmir request for your favourable consideration towards the grievances that we are facing from last so many years;
1. That we are working in the department of Tourism Kashmir from last 10-12 years to best satisfaction of our immediate officers in all the aspects especially in ensuring the watch and ward of the Tourism Assets which are worth corers and also doing landscaping in all parks of the department.
2. That we have always came forward in providing our services in the tough times like the devastating flood episode and also in the fire incident of 2013 in Directorate.We have put our lives at risk in order to make sure that the departmental assets are kept in tidy and organized form.
3. That our records have been uploaded on the Government NIC website hosted by the finance department of the j&k state.
