This morning, I received a call from a scammer, and I immediately recognized the nature of the call. However, I decided to engage and listen. Throughout the conversation, the scammer made various claims and eventually threatened to transfer the call to a police station. At that point, I calmly explained the harmful nature of his actions, emphasizing the impact such activities have on innocent people. By the end of the conversation, he acknowledged his wrongdoing and seemed to understand the consequences of his behavior.

While trekking to the Kashmir Great Lakes, I observed that the camping sites and lakes are severely impacted by waste left behind by tourists and locals. Trekking clubs, which are affiliated with the government, are permitted to keep their tents on these sites for extended periods to facilitate their business operations. Unfortunately, this has led to the degradation of these pristine locations. The Satsar camping site, in particular, is in a dire state. It saddens me to see these beautiful places being disrespected. I urge JK Tourism and other relevant authorities to take immediate action to address this issue. It is imperative that we take steps to protect our environment.
