जौनसार-बावर — एक ऐसा इलाका जो 1815 तक हिमाचल की सिरमौर रियासत का हिस्सा हुआ करता था।
जिसकी तहसील होती थी नाहन।यहाँ के लोग महासू देवता जी के नाम पर एकजुट होते हैं।

ये एक Tribal area है, जहाँ दहेज लेना क़ानून से नहीं, परंपरा से ही मना है!
शादी में बस दी जाती हैं — कांसे की थाली, गिलास, चम्मच, और पानी का बर्तन, लकड़ी का संदूक। यहाँ छोटे मोटे विवादों का हल होता है खुमड़ी पंचायत में।
यहाँ की बोली जौनसारी और सिरमौरी एक जैसी है, पहनावा और लोकगीतों में भी खूब समानता है।

“कहते हैं, संस्कृति तभी जिंदा रहती है जब लोग उसे रोज़ जीते हैं।
जौनसार-बावर इसका ज़िंदा सबूत है।
अगर आप कभी देहरादून जाएँ, चकराता, मोइला टॉप और माख्टी पोखरी ज़रूर देखिएगा,
क्योंकि वहाँ की हवा में आज भी सिरमौर की खुशबू है।

राजा वीरभद्र सिंह… एक ऐसी शख्सियत जिनकी visionary leadership की कमी आज भी हिमाचल के कोने-कोने में महसूस होती है।
23 जून 1934 को बुशहर रियासत के शाही परिवार में जन्मे राजा साहब ने अपनी पढ़ाई Bishop Cotton School, शिमला और St. Stephen’s College, दिल्ली से की।
सिर्फ़ 28 साल की उम्र में पंडित नेहरू ने उन्हें पहली बार लोकसभा भेजा।
1983 में जब टिम्बर स्कैम के बाद कांग्रेस को नए नेता की ज़रूरत थी, तो इंदिरा गांधी ने राजा साहब को मुख्यमंत्री बनाया — और वे कुल 6 बार हिमाचल के सीएम रहे।
राजा साहब 5 बार सांसद बने और Steel व MSME जैसे मंत्रालय संभाले।
उनकी नेतृत्व क्षमता ने हिमाचल को नई दिशा दी — सड़कों, स्कूलों, अस्पतालों और ग्रामीण योजनाओं तक उनका विज़न आज भी ज़िंदा है।
राजा साहब दिलों के राजा थे — कहते थे, “मुझे तभी खाने पर बुलाना, जब मेरे स्टाफ को भी खिला सको।”
तेज़ याददाश्त, 16 घंटे काम करने की आदत और आजीवन कुछ नया सीखने का जुनून — यही था उनका असली राजसी अंदाज़।

2 सितम्बर को कुल्लू ज़िले की सैंज घाटी पर बड़ा हादसा हुआ। गाँवों में ज़मीन कई फीट तक धँस गई, जिससे भारी तबाही हुई। 80 से अधिक घर क्षतिग्रस्त या पूरी तरह टूट गए और परिवारों को अपना आशियाना छोड़ने पर मजबूर होना पड़ा।

आज ये परिवार अपने बच्चों के साथ अस्थायी टेंटों में रहने को मजबूर हैं और हर दिन संघर्ष कर रहे हैं।

हमने इन गाँवों का दौरा किया और आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की। यह सिर्फ़ एक छोटा सा कदम है, लेकिन इन परिवारों का दर्द और चुनौतियाँ बेहद बड़ी हैं।

यह आपदा केवल कुल्लू तक सीमित नहीं है—मंडी, चंबा और हिमाचल के कई अन्य क्षेत्रों में भी लोगों को भारी नुकसान झेलना पड़ा है। और अब हमें एक बार फिर मिलकर खड़ा होना होगा।

बहुत जल्द हम हिमाचल के लिए एक फंडरेज़र शुरू करने वाले हैं, ताकि और अधिक प्रभावित परिवारों तक मदद पहुँचाई जा सके।

आइए, हिमाचल के लिए एकजुट हों। आपकी हर छोटी सी मदद किसी परिवार की उम्मीद बन सकती है.

On 2nd September, tragedy struck Sainj Valley in Kullu district. In Sari and Kathayar villages of Talada Gram Panchayat, the land sank several feet, causing massive destruction. More than 80 houses were damaged or completely destroyed, forcing families to abandon their homes.

Today, these families are living under temporary tents with their children, struggling each day to survive.

We visited these villages and provided ₹2,00,000 as financial assistance to the affected families. This is only a small step, but the pain and challenges these families face are immense.

Himachal has been hit hard—not just in Kullu, but also in Mandi, Chamba, and many other regions. And once again, we need to again come together.

Very soon, we’ll be launching a fundraiser for Himachal, so that we can extend support to more families who are in need of help.

Let’s stand united for Himachal. Every small contribution matters 🙏❤️
