French Revolution

The French Revolution was a time of great social and political upheaval in France. It began in 1789 with the storming of the Bastille and ended in 1799 with the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. During this time, many changes took place in French society, including the abolition of feudalism, the establishment of a republic, and the passage of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen. In addition to these political changes, many social and cultural transformations occurred as a result of the Revolution. For example, art and literature became more secular and realistic, while fashion changed to reflect new democratic values. Although not all aspects of the Revolution were positive, it was ultimately a watershed event that transformed France into a modern nation.

The Mughals experienced an evolution of languages during their rule in South Asia. The Mughal Empire existed between 1526–1857 and this really is a large period of time. Mughals were an extension of the Timurid Dynasty and Timurids belonging to Central Asia, natively spoke the Turkic Chagatai language. In fact, the founder of Mughal Empire, Zahīr ud-Dīn Muhammad Babur’s autobiography “Baburnama” also known as “Tuzk-i-Baburi” was originally written in Chagatai, though it was later translated in Persian and Urdu. One thing to remember is that, Timurid-Mughals and their ancestors from the Timurid Empire (Irān o Turān) of Amir Tamerlane were all fond of Persian language and Persianate civilization. During Tamerlane’s rule in Samarkand and Bukhara, he commenced the “Timurid renaissance” which marked the pinnacle era of Persianate architecture, which was to be followed by the Timurid-Mughals in their territory too. Prior to Babur’s invasion and existence of Mughal Empire, Persian language was already the lingua franca of the Sultanate (founded by Qutub ud-Din Aibak of Lahore; 1206), so it remained the official language afterwards. This shows the influence of Persian language in South Asia and Mughals’ fascination with it. Persian also connected the Mughals with other two gunpowder Empires (Safavids and Ottomans) and others parts of the Persianate world. As the time passed, Urdu became more and more influential in Mughal courts and hence, was given official status. Urdu was not merely an official language but also the language of art and literature in the Mughal Empire and therefore, the later Mughal Emperors were native Urdu-speakers who spoke official languages, Urdu and Persian at there courts and were well-aware of their ancestral Chagatai Turkic language at the same time. In fact, Urdu as a language has vocabulary composition from both Persian and Turkic languages so it Automatically became the most agreeable language for official use.

It's a long time ago. A sculptor lived in a village. He had made such statues, seeing everyone who had the illusion of living the statues. His fame in all the nearby villages was that people were lovers of his sculpture. That is why the sculptor had great pride in his art. A time came in the way of life, when he started to feel that he is now going to die, he would not be able to survive for long. When he thought that soon he would be dead, he got into trouble.

He made a plan to confuse the devil (messenger). He was similar to himself having ten sculptures and he himself got stuck between those statues. When devil (messenger) came to take him, he was sensed by seeing eleven such idols. They were not able to identify who is the real man of those statues. They started thinking what to do now. If the soul of a sculptor could not take, then the rule of creation will be broken and if the statues are broken to test the truth then the art will be insulted.

Suddenly a devil (messenger) got the idea of testing the biggest evil ego of human nature. Seeing the statues, he said, "How beautiful are the statues, but there is an error in idols. If the person who created the statue was in front of me, then tell him what mistake it is to make a statues."

The ego of the sculptor woke up by listening to this, he thought, "I dedicate my whole life to making statues, what can be wrong in my statues". He said, "What kind of error" …

Immediately the devil (messenger) caught hold of him and said, "That's the mistake you made in your ego, that lifeless statues do not speak" …

The reasoning of the story is that "History is a witness, ego has always given nothing to the person except trouble and sorrow".

Reasons to Celebrate Diwali
Even though Diwali is regarded as a Hindu holiday, it is observed in a variety of ways by many communities all over the nation. The spiritual meaning of Deepawali, which is "winning of light over darkness, good over evil, and wisdom over ignorance," remains the same wherever the holiday is celebrated. See the reasons why we do celebrate Diwali.

According to the Ramayana, after spending 14 years in exile and vanquishing the demon king Raavana, Lord Rama, his wife Sita, and brother Laxmana, at last, returned to Ayodhya. He goes back to his house for Diwali.
During the Treta Yug, Lord Vishnu took the form of Vamana Avatar and deceived King Mahabali into giving up all of his wealth in order to save Goddess Lakshmi from the evil king. Thus, the meaning of Diwali is once more emphasized: Good always prevails over Evil.
In the Mahabharata, the five Pandava brothers were exiled for 12 years by the Kauravas after being deceived into losing a wager in gaming. The Pandavas are said to have returned to Hastinapur on the night of Kartik Amavasya on Diwali.
Diwali is a significant event in Indian history as well as having mythical and religious significance. From 56 to 55 BCE, India was ruled by the great King Vikramaditya who was a knowledgeable leader and a well-known warrior. People in his kingdom lit lamps and set off fireworks to mark his coronation, and since then, Diwali is also observed to pay homage to the great king.
The most widely accepted version holds that Diwali commemorates the day Goddess Lakshmi was conceived from Samudra Manthan, the gods and demons' churning of the cosmic ocean of milk. On Diwali eve, Lakshmi picked Vishnu as her spouse, and the two were joined in sacred matrimony.
In the Sikh religion, Diwali commemorates the release of Guru Hargobind by the Mughal emperor Jehangir.
The Jain religion observes the Diwali festival to commemorate the day Mahavira's soul attained Nirvana.
The Diwali festival marks the beginning of a
