Acting on the reliable information regarding presence of a hideout in the general area of mahore sub division, a joint operation was launched to sanitise the area which was jointly led by Reasi Police and Army 58 RR in the Lancha area of Mahore.

During the search and cordon operation security forces recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition from the hideout in Lancha area of Shajroo. The recovery include

Continuing unwavering efforts to bridge the gap between police & public, Reasi Police facilitated a Police Community Partnership Group meeting (PCPG) at Police Station Reasi.

The meeting was chaired by 𝗦𝗦𝗣 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝗠𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮-𝗜𝗣𝗦 and was attended by the Ward Councilors, Ward members, prominent and respectable citizens of concerned area.

On the occasion, the participants highlighted various issues of public importance and they were assured by the chairing officer that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and that of civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal. The participants were stressed to co-operate with Police in maintaining law and order in the area and in identifying anti-national and anti-social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment.

The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.

People appreciated the effort of Reasi Police in maintaining the Law and order and also curbing the menace of drug abuse from the district.

*FRAUDSTER ARRESTED IN MULTI-CRORE SCAM IN SUB TREASURY ARNAS REASI WITHIN 01 WEEK- REASI POLICE*

A Case FIR no 19/2024 US 409/420/477-A IPC stands registered in Police Station Arnas in connection with fraud and loss to govt exchequer of ₹ 1.38 Crores in sub treasury Darmari. After committing offence fraudster namely Ali Shah went underground to evade arrest.

Sensing the gravity of the offence *SSP Reasi Ms Mohita Sharma constituted a special team comprising *Insp.Vijay Kumar SHO P/S Arnas,SI Lalit Sharma* under the supervision of *~Sh.Mohd.Irfan Khan (SP)SDPO Arnas.*

Police team led by SDPO Arnas Sh Mohd Irfan Khan raided at various locations in Jammu. Finally today on a specific information alleged kingpin namely Ali Hussaian Shah S/o Azam Hussain Shah R/o H. No. 21 Shergarhi Tehsil Chasana District Reasi J&K A/P Bandi Mahore (MTS assistant, Sub treasury Dharmari) got arrested.

Sharing the information *~SSP Reasi Ms Mohita Sharma IPS* conveyed that the criminal who was evading the arrest from the last one week and who wrongfully gained the amount causing loss of Govt. Exchequer of worth Rs 1,38,17,971/- by way of cheating and falsification of accounts at Sub Treasury Dharmari arrested today.

SSP Further added that Two other accused namely Ajeet Kumar S/o Punjabu Ram R/o Rayala Tehsil Pouni Disrict Reasi Roopnagar, Reasi (assistant treasury officer, Sub treasury Dharmari) and Balbir Singh S/o. Kirpa Kotli Lajpat Tehsil Bhomag District Reasi A/P Geeta Nagar, Reasi (account assistant, got also arrested for involvement in the criminal conspiracy of the act committed.

People appreciated the quick action of Reasi police in arresting the main criminal involved in this heinous crime.

𝗦𝗦𝗣 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝗠𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮-𝗜𝗣𝗦 convened a meeting of officers to review the arrangements for the smooth conduct of upcoming Lok Sabha Elections at conference hall District Police Lines Reasi in which discussions were held on election preparedness, Model Code of Conduct, role of Police in election, Seizures, FSTs, SSTs, CAPF accommodation, sensitive zones, security scenario, law & order, Sensitivity of Polling Stations and other related issues to elections was discussed in threadbare.

The meeting was attended by Addl. SP Reasi, Addl. SP Katra, Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi, DySP DAR Reasi, SDPO Mahore, SDPO Arnas, SDPO Katra, Dy.SP Bhawan, All SHO’s, and other Police officers of the district.

In meeting a detailed and thorough discussion held on various crucial aspects pertaining to the smooth and peaceful conduct of the upcoming elections in the district.

Thereafter, a detailed briefing was given by the Addl. SPs and SDPOs with regard to various important security related issues of their respective jurisdiction and also with regard to the security arrangements are being planned for forthcoming Parliamentary Elections.

Necessary Instructions were given by SSP Reasi that checking and frisking at various Nakas on highways and also in city and its outskirts should be geared up and made purposeful. The manpower manning these Nakas need to be properly supervised/ briefed by the SDPOs/SHOs and make them accountable.

SSP Reasi directed all officers to prepare the roadmap for forthcoming elections. She also stressed on coordination with civil administration and security forces and keep an eye on activities of ANEs and trouble makers.

She further said that Reasi Police along with other security forces are ready and duty bound to provide congenial atmosphere for the voters whenever Election dates are announced.

आज दिनांक 13/03/2024 को निसार मोहम्मद , कमाण्डेंट -126 वीं बटालियन के.रि.पु.बल के निर्देशानुसार F / 126 वीं बटालियन के.रि.पु. बल द्वारा , सुकेतर केयाला में सिविक एक्शन प्रोग्राम -2024 के तहत निःशुल्क मेडिकल कैम्प का आयोजन किया गया । इस मेडिकल कैम्प आयोजन के दौरान सुकेतर केयाला पंचायत के आस - पास गाँव के 213 ग्रामवासियों को निःशुल्क चिकित्सिय परामर्श एवं दवाईयाँ वितरित की गई । इस अवसर पर 126 वीं बटालियन के.रि.पु. बल के अधिकारी बलबीर सिंह उप कमान्डेण्ट , बी.सरवना कुमार सहायक कमान्डेण्ट, डॉ गौरव चिकित्सा अधिकारी एवं अधीनस्थ अधिकारी , जवान व पैरामेडिकल स्टॉफ ने काफी बढ़ चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया जिसे ग्रामवासियों द्वारा प्रशंसा व सराहा गया । इस मौके पर सिविल डॉ . मिनाली राजपूत ,पैरामेडिकल स्टॉफ, तथा मो. लतीफ सरपंच, रेणु शर्मा नायब सरपंच अन्य लोग भी उपस्थित थे।

District Police Reasi recovered one missing minor boy (name withheld) R/O Muslim Mohalla Tehsil and District Reasi from Jammu.

On 08.03.2024 father of missing minor from W. No 7 Reasi tehsil & District Reasi reported at Police Station Reasi that his son, age 17 years age went to Baba Dansar Karua to watch a Shiv Ratri program and didn’t returned back. All efforts were made out by the family members to trace out but the whereabouts of the missing could not be ascertained.

Acting on complaint, case FIR No. 45/2023 U/S 363 IPC registered at Police Station Reasi and search started to recover the said boy.

Sensing the gravity of incident 𝗦𝗦𝗣 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮-𝗜𝗣𝗦 constituted a special team to trace out the minor at the earliest. After hectic efforts and with the help of technical team, the location of the minor boy established in Jammu .
A special team was sent to Jammu to recover the minor at the earliest.

Special team of Police Station Reasi recovered the missing minor from Jammu and handed over to his family after completing all the legal formalities. Further investigations in the case is going on.

The family members expressed their gratitude towards Reasi Police for their arduous effort in tracing out the member of the family.

SSP Reasi conveyed that Reasi police is being regularly briefed to remain sensitive towards crime against especially minors ,further appealed that minors should remain aware of fraudsters who remain on mission of spoiling the life of innocents.

एनएचपीसी सलाल पावर स्टेशन द्वारा 6 मार्च बुधवार को निगम की सीएसआर-एसडी योजना के अंतर्गत रियासी जिले के दसानु गाँव के राजकीय मिडिल स्कूल के पास सुबह 10 बजे दोपहर 3 बजे तक एक दिवसीय निःशुल्क चिकित्सा शिविर का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। उक्त चिकित्सा शिविर में मरीजों के ब्लड प्रेशर तथा शुगर की जांच की जाएगी और दवाओं का निःशुल्क वितरण किया जायेगा।

On the basis of complaint received from a pilgrim Atharv Sulakhiya S/O Santosh Kumar Sulakhiya R/O Chorai, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh at Police Station Bhawan that unknown person has stolen 04 mobiles along with the other items worth Rs 160,597/-.
In this regard, Case FIR no. 02/2024 U/S 379 IPC was registered and investigation started by P/S Bhawan. A special team led by Sh. Khyatimaan Khajuria SHO P/S Bhawan immediately rounded up many suspects and finally successfully recovered 04 mobiles and stolen property worth Rs. 160,597/- from accused person namely Rahul Singh S/O Subash Singh R/O Pakhlai, Udhampur alongwith stolen property worth Rs. 160597/- who was arrested in the instant case. His interrogation for his involvement in other cases of similar nature is going on.
Pilgrims hailed the effort of Reasi police for swift and prompt action and recovery of stolen items of pilgrim.

जिला की चसाना तहसील के अंतर्गत कुंडरदान इलाके में शनि रविवार की मध्य रात्रि को भूस्खलन के कारण एक कच्चा मकान ढह गया जिसके मलबे में दबने से एक महिला और उसके तीन बच्चों की मौत हो गई जबकि दो लोग घायल हुए हैं।
मृतक महिला की पहचान फूलां अख्तर और उसके तीन बच्चों की पहचान नसरीन कौसर अमरीन कौसर और कमरीना कौसर के रूप में हुई है। जिनकी उम्र 2 साल से 5 साल के बीच बताई जाती है। जबकि घायलों की पहचान कालू और बानो के रूप में हुई।
रियासी के डीसी विशेष पाल महाजन ने इस घटना पर दुख जताते हुए घायलों के बेहतर उपचार तथा अन्य मदद के लिए अधिकारियों की टीम को मौके पर भेज दिया है।

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗦𝗦𝗣) 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶, 𝗠𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮-𝗜𝗣𝗦, convened a comprehensive crime review meeting of Sub-division Mahore at District Police Headquarters in Reasi. The meeting was attended by the SDPO Mahore Sh. Ajaz Choudhary-JKPS, SHO Mahore , SHO Chassana, IC PPs, IO’s and other officers.

During the meeting, the status of under investigation cases related to ULAP(A), NDPS Act, Excise, bovine smuggling and Crime against women & children were reviewed. The progress made in ongoing criminal investigations was discussed to ensure timely resolution and justice for victims. Strategies to strengthen community policing and enhance public safety were deliberated upon, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in maintaining law and order. Measures to tackle drug abuse within the district were discussed, with a focus on prevention, rehabilitation and enforcement.

Addressing the officers, SSP Reasi said that the Investigation officers must take all the measures to improve investigation and disposal of cases. She directed that the quality of investigation and disposal of these cases needs improvement and stressed upon them to adopt the latest techniques and standard operating practices which would bring better results in investigation process.

SSP Reasi, directed the participating officers to remain extra-vigilant, strengthen nakas/check points, and generate actionable intelligence so that the nefarious designs of anti-national elements can be thwarted. She further directed the officers to take the lead while conducting area domination/patrolling and speculative/specific CASOs in vulnerable areas/pockets. This meeting served as a crucial platform to identify challenges, share insights, and develop actionable plans to address both existing and emerging security concerns in the district.

Continuing special drive against the bovine smuggler under *OPERATION DHENU* Reasi police foiled bovine smuggling at Moori Check Post. During checking at Moori, rescued 16 bovines animal from a truck bearing Registration No. JK02DD1889 at Moori Check Post which hit the barricade and tried to run away from spot and was stopped by police party while the driver managed to fled away from the spot taking advantage of darkness. The search of the accused person is initiated.

On this, Case FIR No 60/2024 U/S 188 IPC, 11 1(a) PC Act, 2/3 PDP Act stands registered at P/S Katra, vehicle seized and investigation initiated to unearth the forward and backward linkages. The whole operation is led by ICPP Kakryal and SHO Katra.

As a part of public outreach programme, "𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙉𝘼 𝘿𝙄𝙒𝘼𝙎" was organised in district Reasi. It is an initiative of Government of J&K UT to bridge the gap between Police and Public and also to listen and redress the grievances of common masses.

Today on the directions of SSP Reasi *Ms Mohita Sharma IPS* Thana Diwas was organised at P/S Ransoo, PP Banganga, Dharmari, P/S Mahore, Sungri and PP Bhambla by District Police Reasi. Civil Society members and respectable persons of the areas remained present on the occasions.

During the Programme, participants highlighted various issues of public importance, and they were assured that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and that of Civil Administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal. While speaking on the occasion, it was reiterated that policing at grass root level in the District would be revamped to enhance proficiencies of the cops and to develop confidence among the people.

While urging for better policing, it was exhorted that public grievances at grass root level would be dealt on priority and patiently, and were assured that such meetings would be held in every nook and corner of the District to further strengthen the Police-Public relations for achieving better results.

Continuing OPERATION- *JEEVANDAAN* - “𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗔 𝗠𝗨𝗞𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗜 𝗔𝗕𝗛𝗜𝗬𝗔𝗔𝗡” in Reasi and in another major strike on drug peddlers District Police Reasi booked and detained one more notorious drug peddler of Reasi under PITNDPS and lodged him in District Jail Reasi.
Bobby Singh Manhas S/O Sher Singh R/O Panthal Tehsil Katra District Reasi who was involved in Case FIR No. 133/2022 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act, FIR No. 25/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS ACT of P/S Katra and DDR No. 34 Dated 10.02.2024 of P/S Katra was detained under PIT NDPS Act under the order No. 22 of 2024 dated 22.2.2024, issued by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.

Besides booking under NDPS Act a number of times he was warned to shun the path of supplying drugs to the youth of Katra. However he remained on continuous mission of minting money by supplying banned drug to youth of Katra. In view of his continuous involvement in drug peddling and to save the health and welfare of the society it was necessary to book him under stringent law.

On the directions of 𝗠𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮-𝗜𝗣𝗦 Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi his dossiers for PSA were prepared and after getting necessary detention order from 𝗦𝗵. 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿-𝗜𝗔𝗦 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿, 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗺𝘂, Bobby Singh Manhas was arrested by the team of Police Station Katra. He was lodged in Sub Jail, Reasi.

SSP Reasi while sharing the details conveyed that Reasi Police is working on multipronged strategy to deal with the problem of drug abuse, on one hand awareness programs are being organized in every nook and corner of the district and on the other hand drug peddlers are being booked under PITNDPS Act on regular basis, whereas Reasi Police also started Anti Drug Helpline Number 9070907017 for general public where identity of caller will be kept secret.

SSP Reasi while giving tough message for drug peddlers added that there is no space for Drug Peddlers in Reasi. Drug peddlers should shun the path of spoiling our generation and must return to mainstream otherwise they will be dealt with Iron hand.

In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Reasi Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources.

In random checking, Police teams of Reasi Police inspected at different locations and seized 02 Vehicles engaged in illegal mining.

In a surprise operation which was carried out at different locations team of Police Post Talwara has apprehended a Dumper bearing Registration No. JK02BL 2747 at Dolsi, Jedi loaded with illegal river bed material (sand).

In a separate incident team of Police Post Dera Baba laid surprise naka on Kanjali road and seized a Tractor-Trolley bearing Chassis No. 1VY5050DAPA069028 loaded with RBM (sand) illegal mining material.
After Seizure of these Vehicles Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal action.

Reasi Police along with drug inspector Sh. Vipin kachroo conducted a surprise checking under the operation “𝗝𝗘𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗡” at chemist Shops in Talwara & Seela area and found selling of H1 drugs illegally, which requires prescription from Doctor for selling of H1 drugs.

During inspection of 'Ajay Medicos' chemist shop at Zero Morh Talwara, the retailer namely Ajay singh S/O Naseeb Singh R/O Salal Kotli, Tehsil and District- Reasi was unable to provide the record of H1 drugs and also CCTV cameras has not found in his shop. Due to which the shop has been seized/closed under 22 D of drugs and cosmetic act 1940.

Similarly during inspection of 'Navh Medical Hall' Chemist shop, at Zero Morh Talwara, the retailer namely Munna Abrol S/O Shashi Pal Abrol R/O Reasi was unable to provide the record of H1 drugs and also CCTV cameras has not found in his shop.

In 'Satya Medical Hall' at Seela, Reasi, the retailer namely Sahaj Kumar S/O Munshi Ram R/O Vijayapur, Reasi also selling H1 drugs illegally and did not maintain the record of H1 drugs and CCTV Cameras has not found in his shop.

In this regard, all the three Chemist shops have been seized/closed under 22 D of drugs and cosmetic act 1940.

The whole operation is led by SHO Reasi under the supervision of Dy.SP headquarter Neeraj Padyar-JKPS.

District Police Reasi apprehended one absconder, who was evading arrest since 2017. Absconder namely Rashpal Singh S/O Lal Singh R/O Chakalsalta Tehsil Thakrakote Distt Reasi, who is facing trial before Hon’ble Court Reasi in case 01) FIR No. 72/2017 U/S 458/323 RPC, 02) FIR No. 88/2023 U/S 323/341 /504/506 IPC and was absconding since long . On 10/02/24 Hon’ble Court Reasi issued general warrant U/S 299 Cr.PC against the said accused, the said accuses has been arrested from Jij Kesari and produced before Hon’ble court. The arrest was made by a team led by SHO Arnas.

Accused person evaded arrest by disguising and changing locations and couldn’t be apprehended since registration of Case FIR against him.
