CAA (Citizen Amendment Act) नुं पूर्ण स्व३५ "નાગરિક સુધારો અધિનિયમ" છે. આ ખરડો સૌપ્રથમવાર 19મી જુલાઈ 2016ના રોજ લોકસભામાં રજૂ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. તે 1955ના નાગરિકત્વ અધિનિયમમાં સુધારો છે જે ભારતના હિંદુઓ, જૈનો, ખ્રિસ્તીઓ, પારસીઓ, બૌદ્ધો અને શીખો જેવા વિવિધ ધર્મોના ગેરકાયદેસર સ્થળાંતર કરનારાઓને ભારતની નાગરિકતા પ્રદાન કરે છે. પડોશી દેશો જેમ કે અફઘાનિસ્તાન, પાકિસ્તાન અને બાંગ્લાદેશ કે જેઓ 31મી ડિસેમ્બર 2014ના રોજ અથવા તે પહેલાં ભારતમાં પ્રવેશ્યા હતા. આ બિલ 8મી જાન્યુઆરી 2019ના રોજ લોકસભામાં પસાર થયું હતું. ત્યાર બાદ, 11મી ડિસેમ્બર 2019ના રોજ રાજ્યસભાએ પણ આ બિલ પસાર કર્યું હતું. ધર્મના આધારે ભેદભાવ તરીકે આ કૃત્યની વ્યાપક ટીકા કરવામાં આવી હતી

મળેલા અહેવાલો મુજબ વિરાટ કોહલીએ BCCIને જણાવ્યું છે કે તે વ્હાઈટ બોલ ક્રિકેટથી બ્રેક લેશે અને તે માત્ર ટેસ્ટ ક્રિકેટ માટે ઉપલબ્ધ રહેશે. ભારતીય ટીમ આવતા મહિને સાઉથ આફ્રિકાના પ્રવાસે જવાની છે. જ્યાં તે ત્રણેય ફોર્મેટની સિરીઝ રમશે. જેની શરૂઆત 10 ડિસેમ્બરે ત્રણ મેચની T20 સિરીઝથી થવાની છે. તે પછી 17 ડિસેમ્બરથી ત્રણ મેચની વનડે સિરીઝ રમાશે અને ત્યારબાદ 26 ડિસેમ્બરથી ભારતીય ટીમ બે મેચની ટેસ્ટ સિરીઝ રમશે.
