The 1st Urs Mubarak of Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah Sab popularly known as Baji Sahib Concluded today .
The five -day annual Urs of Hazrat Sayed Muzaffar Hussain Shah (RA) popularly known as Baji Sahib (RA) started from 18th of June concluded today .
During Urs Mubarak, recitation of the holy Quran, prayers and Naat have been held. On this occasion special prayers were held for the peace and tranquility in the UT and country.
This Urs is celebrated in memory of late sufi Saint Sayeed Muzaffar Hussain Shah sab who has been a pious and spiritual personality. His resting place located at Bravi kalakote is thronged by thousands of people from across the state. The 5 day Urs celebrations will be conducted by his son Sabzada Sayeed Basharat Hussain Shah sab.

Rajouri today on 21st of june 2024 Excise Department conducted raids at Saranoo Dhangri Tehsil Rajouri, District, Rajouri during late hours.
In order to curb menace of illicit distillation and sale of liquor Excise Team conducted raids in various areas at Saranoo,Dhangri Tehsil Rajouri. During search at Saranoo Dhangri 42litres of illicit liquor distilled which is highly hazardous and injurious to health 3600 kgs of Lahan(Raw material used for illicit Liquor distillation),and 02 Working Still recovered from State Land and destroyed on spot. Further investigation in this regard is being conducted to break the supply chain of illicit liquor in Rajouri Area. The raids are being conducted on the direction of Excise Commissioner J&K Sh.Pankaj Kumar (JKAS) and Deputy Excise Commissioner Executive Smt Kusum Sukriti Sharma(JKAS) and under supervision of ETO Rajouri Poonch Narinder Singh Anthal a team led by ETO along with Inspector Mohd Parvez sub inspector Mr Anil Sharma and orderly Mr. Sanjeev Sharma
