On Monday, a 7.8 magnitude tremor hit at a depth of 17.9 km (11 miles) in the Turkish city of Gaziantep at 04:17 local time (01:17 GMT).
A second 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck less than 12 hours later.
The epicentre of the earthquake was in the Turkish province of Kahramanmaras' Pazarcik district.
