This is one of the best things I've read this morning. I'm genuinely happy and honored to be part of this ensemble of cast and crew. It feels like one of the best compliments a critic can give regarding the cinematography I always aim for. Beyond being labeled as "best cinematography" or "beautiful cinematography," I find a compliment like "appropriate cinematography" to be something I continually aspire to earn. I'm humbled and eager to learn and improve further.

This project has posed numerous challenges, but our team, functioning like a close-knit family, united with a common goal. In this ancient city of Banaras, where time seems to stand still, the practice of cremation is not just an act but a sacred ritual, woven intricately into the fabric of daily life. The crackling bonfires that illuminate the night sky bear witness to the eternal cycle of existence, where the journey from life to death is both revered and embraced.

Here, amidst the poignant juxtaposition of glowing tents and the somber pyres, ordinary individuals embody extraordinary reverence. They recognize that death, with all its complexities and mysteries, is an integral part of the cosmic dance. It is a gentle reminder of the impermanence of our mortal existence, urging us to treasure each precious moment with a renewed sense of purpose.

Seated on that humble bench, these two weathered souls carry the wisdom of countless lifetimes etched upon their faces. This picture captures the essence of my journey in a single moment. The feeling of flying through the air, like a bird, was the highlight of my adventure. The image of a kite among several paragliders brings back memories of the rush of wind through my hair and the sense of freedom that comes with soaring high in the sky. It's a moment I'll always treasure.

shared with me about a Baba who resides in a small temple up in the mountains in her village. She mentioned that he has been living there for more than 70 years without venturing beyond a 50-meter radius. And so was the temple - small and simple, yet filled with an inexplicable aura.

As for the Baba himself, his appearance was intriguing with his weathered face and piercing gaze. It seemed as though he had achieved a level of enlightenment and contentment that only a select few humans are able to comprehend. His simple existence in the little temple up in the mountains was a testament to his deep spiritual understanding and his unwavering commitment to his beliefs. To those who were receptive to his tellings, he was a source of inspiration and wisdom. This Baba truly was a man of interest.

I impulsively booked a flight to Bir, seeking solace amid my turbulent mind and hectic shooting schedule. Quickly I signed up for a paragliding courses Ianded in Bir without a second thought. Days of ground training, delightful treks, natural pool swims and indulgent meals in good company had lifted my spirits. And then, yesterday, our instructor mentioned that we were ready to take flight. He gestured towards a mountain peak, nonchalantly stating that “Kuch Nahi.. Wo cliff se hi tho kudhna hai” , and everything would be alright.
At that moment, I couldn't fathom what lay ahead. Yet this morning 6:30am as the sun rose, I found myself hurtling off the second-highest takeoff point in the world, soaring like a bird amidst turbulent winds and snowcapped mountains. Fear coursed through my veins, but the rush of adrenaline was something I'd never experienced before. I had placed my complete trust in the glider and our remarkable instructors .in, simply being and reacting.

The thrill of it was indescribable. My heart raced with excitement, and my senses were heightened to a level I'd never experienced before. I felt alive in a way that I'd never felt before.

When I landed back on solid ground, the sense of accomplishment was overwhelming. I had done it - run off the cliff and soared high above the mountains, all on my own. The excitement and pride I felt were like nothing I'd ever experienced.

As I looked back up at the mountain peak, my heart swelled with a sense of longing. I knew that I had to come back, to experience the thrill and excitement of flying once again from 8000ft and we were there in less than an hour running off the cliff again .

Watching this scene unfold at the break of dawn, I can't help but feel a sense of awe at the dedication and discipline of these monks. Through their daily practice, they seek to cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them, and to cultivate compassion and wisdom in their hearts. 🙏🏻

I had a conversation with this lovely elderly lady and asked her permission to take a picture. She then shared an interesting story about her experience being photographed while working on a farm by some photographer. Apparently, the photo became viral and was published in the Natgeo magazine. She became a well-known figure overnight in the town.

I woke up this morning a year older. Rather more foolish and more hungry.

I was unable to respond to many of your calls yesterday as I was occupied with a shoot, but I want you to know that I have read and appreciated most of the message, voice note, songs, and pictures( nice and embarrassing ones ) that you have sent me.

The outpouring of love that I have received has left me feeling overwhelmed, but in the best possible way. Please know that I am trying my best to personally reply to each and every one of you, although I must confess that it's proving to be quite challenging.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and support. Your thoughtfulness and generosity have made a world of difference to me. I feel deeply humbled and grateful. May you be blessed with all the love and happiness that you so generously give.

I have fond memories of childhood's bliss,
When I would tease my grandma with mischief.
Hiding my naughtiness from parental view,
I'd make her feed me and give my feet a soothing rub too.
She would tell me stories, and keep a watchful eye,
Whenever my friends, especially girls, stopped by.
Her presence was always felt, a watchful eye,
A guiding light, a loving soul, a cherished vision.
But now time has taken its toll,
And age has made her fragile, in need of a caring role.
When I surprised her with a visit yesterday ,
She could barely leave her bed, her body so dear.
But the smile on her face and the way she held my arm,
Refusing to let go, brought forth emotions and a tearful calm.
May she find happiness in her remaining days,
And be surrounded by love in all possible ways.
