Quora, when used effectively, you will get many content ideas and the type of content people seek.

The best part about Quora is that you can follow spaces and create your area, which is a channel inside Quora.

You can follow specific spaces related to your niche and consume those content, and understand the content.

Next, when you answer questions on Quora, you will get many free eyeballs, increasing your Brand.

Most importantly, Quors is Searchable, meaning if you write the best answers to a particular question on Quora, your answer appears on Google.

Thus Quora will not only give you content ideas but also generate a lot of eyeballs for your content.

How many of you know $1.80 STRATEGY TO GROW YOUR COMMUNITY!!!!

So far in my LinkedIn journey, I haven't seen anyone writing about the $1.80 Strategy.

Thus I have decided to write about it, and there is another reason as well: I want people to understand what it means to build an engaging community.

What is the $1.80 Strategy?

$1.80 is given by Gary Vaynerchuk five years back, and this was his strategy to build a community even if you had zero followers

In simple terms, the $1.80 strategy is about leaving your 0.02 cents(valuable comment) on the top 9 posts for ten different hashtags in your niche or industry.

So how to do this?

There are three simple steps to do this.

FIND THE BEST HASHTAGS THAT ARE RELEVANT TO YOUR BUSINESS AND BRANDS:
Just go to the search of whichever platform you choose to do so and type in the hashtag and look out for all the suggested hashtags as well.

Choose ten hashtags from them and spend time finding the top 9 posts from each hashtag.

Give attention to numbers, meaning look for posts and accounts with fewer numbers yet a greater engagement rate.

LEAVING YOUR 0.02 CENT:
After finding your top 9 posts from each hashtag, leave your 0.02 cents(VALUABLE COMMENT) on all the nine posts for all the ten hashtags.
Remember, comments shouldn't be like spamming. It should be authentic and valuable.

CONTINUE TO COMMENT, AND ENGAGE:
Follow the $ 1.80 strategy consistently.
It is all about numbers and quantity; your account will start getting more eyeballs when you continuously do this strategy.

And remember this when you are commenting, "You're going to leave $1.80 in karma, $1.80 in community, $1.80 in your thoughts. You're not going to spam."

So don't try to say things like follow me, which will never work out.

Finally, this doesn't mean that you should compulsorily do so much every day; instead, do how much ever you can but make sure you are consistent with those numbers.
