Today, I joined the people of Darjeeling hills, Terai and Dooars in bidding final goodbye to Late. Prashant Tamang, and joined the funeral procession from Bagdogra Airport.

An iconic Gorkha youth, Prashant mesmerized the world by his voice, humility, and simplicity. Rising from our Darjeeling hills, he carried the hopes and aspirations of an entire community onto the global stage, making every Gorkha proud.

It is heartbreaking to lose someone so young. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life that inspired millions and a legacy that will continue to live on through his music and the memories he created.

My heartfelt condolences to his better-half Martha, his daughter, family, friends, and countless admirers.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

हिरज तामाङको कडा चेतावनी: "बिरामीको स्वास्थ्यमा खेलवाड सहँदैनौँ, गाडी ठप्प पार्छौँ।"

के सुक्ना अस्पताल अब उपचार गर्ने थलो नभएर लापरवाहीको केन्द्र बन्दैछ? खर्साङ महकुमा अन्तर्गत दुधे क्षेत्रका मानिसहरूले सुक्ना अस्पतालमा भोग्दै आएको पीडा अब आक्रोशमा बदलिएको छ।"

"दुधे ड्राइभर वेलफेयर एसोसिएशनका प्रेसिडेन्ट हिरज तामाङले आज अस्पताल प्रशासन र सम्बन्धित डाक्टरहरू विरुद्ध कडा मोर्चा खोलेका छन्। तामाङका अनुसार, दुधेका बिरामीहरूलाई अस्पतालमा सौतेलो व्यवहार गरिन्छ र उपचारमा चरम हेलचेक्राई गरिन्छ। यो कुनै पहिलो पटक होइन, यस्ता घटना सुक्ना अस्पतालमा बारम्बार दोहोरिँदै आएका छन्।"

"असोसिएसनले अब मुख मात्र बन्द गरेर नबस्ने स्पष्ट पारेको छ। यदि प्रशासनले लापरवाह डाक्टरहरूमाथि तुरुन्तै कडा एक्सन लिएन भने, दुधे क्षेत्र चल्ने सबै गाडीहरू पूर्ण रूपमा बन्द गरिनेछ। स्वास्थ्य सेवामा भइरहेको यो खेलवाड विरुद्ध अब दुधेका चालक र जनता सडकमा उत्रने तयारीमा छन्।"

गत ०१ दिसंबरमा मात्रै उहाँको सुपुत्र स्वर्गीय सुदन तामाङको निधन भएको थियो, जसमा, अध्यक्ष श्रीमान बिमल गुरुङ ज्यु पुग्नु भएको थियो।
