इन लोकसभा सीटों के अधिकार क्षेत्र में आने वाले 28 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के साथ-साथ बरहामपुर, कोरापुट, नबरंगपुर और कालाहांडी संसदीय क्षेत्रों में सुबह 7 बजे मतदान शुरू हुआ।
अधिकारियों ने कहा कि कुछ दूरदराज और माओवाद प्रभावित इलाकों में समायोजन के साथ मतदान शाम छह बजे तक जारी रहेगा, जहां मतदान पहले समाप्त हो जाएगा।

उन्होंने कहा कि 62.87 लाख से अधिक मतदाता 7,303 मतदान केंद्रों पर अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करने के पात्र हैं, उन्होंने कहा कि चार लोकसभा सीटों के लिए 37 उम्मीदवार और 28 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के लिए 243 उम्मीदवार मैदान में हैं।
