Deadpool... Film Pickle's Deadly Review! check it out!
DeadPool Movie Review :
First off: Indian Censor Board: GO F**K YOURSELVES.
I hope deadpool himself comes and skewers you guys like a sheesh kabab… Fu***ng c**t nuts have fu**ed this movie the hell up. Even shots already seen in the trailer have been CENSORED. Who the f**k do you think you are protecting? This is an A rated movie… Go apply you moronic values and sanskar to some other guy’s arse… (get it ? guy ? huh ?)
This roughly sets the tone for Deadpool the movie. This movie is crass, loud and HILARIOUS!
This is the Hollywood equivalent of a Salman Khan movie on steroids. Coming off one of the BEST marketing campaigns EVER done… This is 2016’s first superhero movie and they start out with a bang. From the first opening scene onwards it’s a LOT of action and s**t tonne of jokes and wise cracks. They have done deadpool as a character EXACTLY right, he doesn’t overdo it, he doesn’t make it stupid. Its wisecracks all the way.
Except, this movie isn’t all silly. It does have a great emotion core and some serious scenes as well.
This is a low budget movie and they make fun of themselves on the same point.
Ryan Reynolds as DEADPOOL is freaking awesome…. He should get an Oscar for being so believable… This guy is like Iron Man’s P**n comedy version. He is so good in his role, you forget this is an actor. You think, this guy Wade Wilson must be REAL… no actor can play things so well.
The bad guys are generic and the opening credit again makes fun of this. This movie is 100% self-aware and that’s what makes it even more amazing.
Rating : 9/10. Go See it. CURSE the moron censor boards for f**king it up. But still it’s not miss able.
Bonus : no 3d… and wait for the end credits scene. There is ONE….
P.s: surprisingly, this is actually NOT a bad Valentine’s Day movie… The love story is kind of the core of the film…
Now this is a real FORCE of nature! Sunny is back ! and this time his surname is Deol and leone :P
Ghayal Once Again Movie Review:
Despite the not so great name, this is a GREAT sequel to 1990’s Ghayal.
I will go so far as to say that this is the BEST sequel I have seen in Bollywood till date.
Ours is not a culture of sequels and it is especially difficult to make a sequel to a cult classic & Blockbuster like Ghayal.
When I heard written & directed by Sunny Deol, I was frankly quite alarmed.
I had gone into the film expecting a poorly made masala entertainer with bad acting and clichéd dialog.But This movie turned out to be hugely entertaining. It is anything but a stupidly made cash grab. I can’t recommend this movie highly enough.
This is the closest an Indian film has gotten to ‘The Dark Knight’ type of film. This movie has powerful ruthless villains, innocents to protect, lot of hi-tech gadgetry and chases, thrills and spills more usually seen in Super Hero films from Hollywood.
This film is rather well written. Surprising, but it is. From the heroes to the villains they all make logical sense. The villain is not as strong as Balwant Rai, but he isn’t so one dimensional either, this time the Villain is LITERALLY Mukesh ambani type Industrialist with a family. This film has so many layers to this Villain, he isn’t a evil man, he is a business tycoon who is shady, which tycoon isn’t ?
That makes this movie realistic. A REALISTIC sunny doel film?
From the writing to the action, everything Is now updated to the 2010s and its mostly very real. From the wounds incurred by the heroes while fighting, to the technique of the fights everything is plausible. There is no more super over the top falling from 10 floors and not getting hurt.
The plot has quite a few twists and turns and also has AMAZING sequences straight out of a Hollywood film with hacking, Cameras, surveillance, media corruption and a LOT more. One particular long chase sequence was actually tense enough for the entire theater to stop breathing for a while.
There are more writers listed other than Sunny Deol and KUDOS to them… Brilliant job of writing an emotional action thriller.
The stunts are very good too. Unlike stupid masala films the hero does fail many times, his car doesn’t quite clear a jump, he trys to run away from the goons etc.
Acting wise, the film has a lot of strong performances. Surprisingly major parts of the film is Sunny Deol less and shows his confidence as a director in letting the younger cast have their screen time.
In conclusion, this is a Sequel to a VERY successful film and they managed to make it good. VERY GOOD!
Rating 7.5/10. A MUST watch for action, thriller lovers. Special bonus for Sunny Deol Lovers.

Airlift Movie Review :
There are some movies with good script, good dialog, great story and a lot of potential and promise. This could have been that movie, it did have very intriguing premise and a compelling story. But other than that, nothing in the film lives up to its promise.
The entire film falls flat on its face and doesn’t revive post interval.
Direction : Total and abject failure of direction. This is just badly directed.
1. The boys playing Iraqi soldiers don’t have the body language or the attitude to pull their role off. They don’t have the menace that is seen in soldiers in ARGO or Syrania or even closer to home Baby.
Acting :
2. The actors all suffer from lack of direction and this film has a lot of good, well known actors.
3. Everything is left to akshay kumar and he shoulders his burden as much as possible.
Music
4. The background score is non existent.
5. the Songs in between spoil the mood totally.
Story :
6.The movie is called airlift and the portion about this operation lasts 30 seconds. That’s it! Its an missed opportunity to highlight the efforts of government officials and the bravery of the pilot, they are shown in few scenes and always as... reluctant & lazy or even rude.
7. Entire unneeded sections of the movie waste time, which could have seen our government’s civil servants taking the action, air crafts preparing, fueling, pilots in briefing, the cockpit chatter. All of this is not present in a movie called airlift.
Summary :
Anyday, this is better than Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 and Mastizaade. ANYDAY !
Kudos to Mr. Kumar for being in such a film. I am just disappointed at how good this should have been, rather it is a mediocre soulless film with a great premise.
I would recommend watching this on TV or DVD or Netflix (torrent)
