Did you know about India's first Artificial Intelligence (AI) University? Last weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting it and meeting Prof Tarundeep Singh Anand (Founder and Chancellor of Universal AI University) and Prof Dr Simon Mak (profsmak) (Vice Chancellor).

We discussed a range of topics, including:

My Economic Times ETCIO Exclusive: In an executive order, the White House has ordered every US agency to appoint a chief AI officer (CAIO). Ideal candidates may include chief information officers (CIOs), chief data officers (CDOs), or chief technology officers (CTOs). These officials would closely monitor AI initiatives for factors such as risk, security, privacy, civil rights and liberties, democratic values, human rights, etc. and will exercise great power.
