The Hajipir Brigade under the aegis of Vajr Division has launched an initiative to provide coaching for the NDA-II 2024 exam to the youth of Kupwara. The initiative includes:

- Weekly mock tests
- Daily current affairs sessions
- Communication skills training
- Library facility
- Experienced faculty
- E-corner for online resources

*The new batch will start on June 20, 2024. The entrance test for the coaching program will be held on June 8, 2024*.

VAJR DIVISION CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY IN KUPWARA WITH A CALL TO INVEST IN WOMEN GROWTH AND EMPOWERMENT.

Kupwara, 11 March 2024 – Vajr Division celebrated the International Women's Day at Government Degree College, Kupwara to honour the myriad accomplishments of distinguished women and to felicitate young women achievers in the region. More than 250 young girls and women from various age groups participated in the interactive forum with the esteemed panellists to engage in a dialogue about growth, empowerment and the positive impact of women in all facets of life.

The United Nations theme for this year, ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,’ focuses on addressing the economic disenfranchisement of women. It aligns with the agenda of the event, which was to highlight the importance of investing in women for the betterment of society. The day was marked with the evocative slogans like INCLUSION, OF NATION, IN WOMEN: ACCELERATE PROGRESS

The Chief Guest for the event was Mrs. Anupama Kalia who highlighted the critical role women play in maintaining societal balance and their burgeoning success across various domains. She emphasized that such strides forward are key to propelling Kupwara and the entire Kashmir region towards a future filled with glory. She also praised the attendees and the women of Kupwara for their pioneering spirit in all walks of life and called upon the community to make a commitment to women empowerment and urged for ensuring that women receive their rightful opportunities to meaningfully contribute in the growth and prosperity of the Kashmir valley and the nation at large.

The panellists consisting of Colonel Pooja Chauhan, Mrs Divya D IPS SP Sopore, acclaimed actress Mateena Rajput and Mrs Refat Wani shared their own inspiring stories of the challenges and opportunities they faced in diverse fields like sports, entertainment, social welfare and defence to motivate and inspire the young women of Kupwara.

Radio Chinar 89.6 FM Celebrates World Radio Day with Enthusiastic Programs and Outreach Interactions

Kupwara, February 13, 2024 – Radio Chinar 89.6 FM in Kupwara joined the global celebration of World Radio Day on February 13th, showcasing a diverse range of engaging programs and interactive initiatives.

Throughout the day, Radio Chinar's dedicated team of radio jockeys (RJs) curated special morning and evening shows entirely devoted to commemorating World Radio Day. The RJs passionately highlighted the profound significance of radio, delving into its rich history and deep-rooted connection with society. Notably, RJ Ayesha spearheaded a compelling podcast alongside other team members, exploring the evolution of radio and sharing personal anecdotes and experiences related to this timeless medium.

In an effort to expand its reach and foster stronger community engagement, the Radio Chinar team, led by its Station Manager, conducted a series of outreach interactions with leaders of various Transport Associations. These interactions served as a platform to raise awareness about Radio Chinar's operations and encourage drivers to tune in to 89.6 FM while on the road. Emphasizing the importance of radio in connecting diverse communities, drivers were urged to integrate FM radio into their vehicles, enabling people from all corners to become acquainted with Radio Chinar's enriching content.

While addressing to leaders of transport ssociation about the significance of  Radio , Station Manager of Radio Chinar 89.6 FM, emphasized the station's commitment to leveraging the power of radio to inform, entertain, and unite listeners across Kupwara.
