The Kashmir Schools Federation convened a significant meeting on 02/04/2024 with the esteemed Chairman of the Fee Fixation Committee, Justice (Retired) Sunil Hali. Led by Mr.
Shakeel Hafiz, the core members of the federation engaged in fruitful discussions concerning various issues affecting Private schools in the Kashmir valley.
During the meeting, the Federation representatives comprehensively discussed the different issues and hurdles faced by Private schools. One of the prominent concerns was the prolonged
delays in approving fee structures for private schools which was also discussed. The Federation presented viable solutions and suggestions that aim to foster a more conducive environment for these institutions to thrive while maintaining their commitment to providing quality
education at affordable rates.In recognition of the esteemed Chairman's efforts and commitment to Public welfare, the
Kashmir Schools Federation presented a memento as a token of appreciation. The exchange of pleasantries was marked by a spirit of mutual respect and collaboration, with the Chairman graciously reassuring the Federation members of his unwavering support. He affirmed his dedication to exploring opportunities for development in the educational landscape of the
valley, reaffirming his availability for continued dialogue and cooperation.

In a scathing denouncement, JKNC senior leader Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan delivered a searing indictment of Sajad Lone's Twitter allegations, exposing them as a feeble attempt to obscure Lone's deep-rooted affiliations with the BJP and RSS. Choudhary Ramzan unraveled the uncomfortable truths surrounding Lone's familial legacy, tracing the bloodshed and turmoil in the valley to the People's Conference's creation of the armed wing militant outfit "Albarq."

Addressing Lone's claims regarding security, Choudhary Ramzan exposed the stark disparity in treatment between JKNC ministers and Sajad Lone, shedding light on the extensive privileges lavished upon Lone by the BJP. Despite holding ministerial positions multiple times, JKNC ministers receive minimal security compared to the elaborate protection provided to Lone.
Emphasizing how JKNC ministers, with just one PSO, pale in comparison to the full presence of law enforcement officers involved in the election process at Lone's events. He accused Lone of pre-election maneuvering by exerting influence to place officers according to his whims.

Choudhary Ramzan lamented the irony of those who were killed, suffered losses, whose houses were burnt, whose families were forced to migrate, who were forcibly made to resign from JKNC, whose education was affected, and became victims of violence instigated by the so-called People's Conference, now being labeled as "white-collar killers" by Sajad Lone. He questioned Lone's sincerity by asking how many times Lone raised the issue of missing persons in the assembly when he served as a minister in an RSS-backed government.

Sajad Lone claims to champion the voice of Kashmiris in Parliament, but let him answer this: When did he speak for Kashmiris while serving as a minister in the assembly? His tenure was marked by mere gratitude to the BJP for a passport, a shameful reality he cannot deny.

Choudhary Ramzan challenged Lone's purported concern for Kashmiris, questioning why Lone did not resign from his ministerial position when people were being massacred, children shot with pellets, and houses burnt down. He criticized Lone's inaction during incidents like the lynching of a lecturer in 2016, suggesting Lone's ambition to become Chief Minister took precedence over the welfare of Kashmiris. In 2015, he himself became a minister under their quota," Chowdhary Ramzan said." How can he credibly oppose the BJP when he owes his position to them? People are no longer swayed by Lone's rhetoric; they discern between right and wrong.
It was Sajad Lone who paved the way for RSS in Kashmir. He was the one who asserted that RSS has every right to operate in Kashmir. This blatant endorsement of RSS by Lone exposes his true loyalties and undermines any pretense of opposition to the BJP.

With a resolute voice, Choudhary Ramzan proclaimed that the era of deceit and manipulation in Kashmir politics, epitomized by Lone and his cohorts, is rapidly drawing to a close. He cautioned that the people of Kashmir are no longer susceptible to their schemes and falsehoods, heralding an imminent shift away from their treacherous web of deceit.

Whether I contest the elections, the decision lies with the party, its not my individual decision. If party wants me to contest polls, I will and party will decided from where I should contest polls. Except Sajad Lone no party has announced their candidates for 3 Kashmir seats.

We will announce our candidates according to our mood, we may decide it after notification or on the last day of filling nominations. Former MP Fayaz Mir to rejoin PDP
Srinagar, Mar 24: Former Rajya Sabha member Fayaz Mir is all set to join Mehbooba M***i led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He will rejoin the party tonight or tomorrow.
Hailing from north Kashmir's Kupwara the former MP Fayaz Mir will rejoin PDP soon. He was a former MP of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from north Kashmir from 2015 to 2021.
Mir was also associated with Sajad Gani Lone led Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Conference after parting ways from PDP.
Mir told KNS that he will rejoin PDP today or tomorrow. “Yes I’m ready to rejoin Mehbooba M***i led PDP either tonight or tomorrow”. (KNS)

Basharat Bukhari all set to return to PDP after over 5 years: Sources

Srinagar, Mar 22 ( ): Former minister and senior politician Sued Basharat Bukhari is all set to join People’s Democratic Party, sources said here on Friday. He will return to the PDP after over 5 years.

Sources close to Bukhari told KNS that he will very soon join the PDP after holding deliberations with the party leadership.

Over past few months Bukhari had been out of active politics until recently. He has also held various positions at party levels and also served as cabinet minister holding various portfolios including Law, Justice, Revenue, Parliamentary Affairs, Horticulture, Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.

He served as member of Legislative Council and member of Legislative Assembly from Sangrama assembly segment. ( )

*Srinagar Police Officer Collapses, Passes Away*

A Jammu and Kashmir Police assistant sub-inspector (ASI) died today after collapsing while on duty in the Abiguzar area of Srinagar.

According to reports from Kashmir Front-KF, the ASI, identified as Mushtaq Ahmad from Karnah Kupwara, lost consciousness during his duty in Abi Guzar this afternoon.

He was rushed to the PCR hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival.

Preliminary investigations by the police suggest that he passed away due to a cardiac arrest.
