Dhamroot

Dumroot is a traditional home-made sweet dish popular among Tanjore Muslims.

Servings: 10 Peoples

Dhamroot 1/2 kg

Ghee required in this recipe 500 g

Ingredients:

Egg 8
Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
Salt 1 pinch
Rava 500g 2 cup +1/2 cup
Sugar 500g 2 cup +1/2 cup
Ghee 500g 2 cup
Raisins 1 tbsp or 1/8 cup (optional)
Cashews 1/8 cup
Cook 20 mins

Pre heat cooker low flame 15 mins
Bake low flame 1 hour 45 mins
Keep aside until cool down completely
4 hours or 3 hours

Cardamom powder

Cardamom (Elaichi) can be used to enhance flavours in both sweet and savoury dishes.

You can store cardamom powder for 2 months in room temperature and up to 6 months in refrigerator. The flavor remains intact when stored in airtight container.

Cardamom 1/3 Cup
Roast low flame 2 mins
cool down completely
grind fine powder

Palkova :

Palkova recipe, with just two main Ingredients – milk and sugar. Traditional sweet.

Duration :2 hours

Ingredients:

Milk 2 Litre
Sugar 1/2 Cup
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp (optional)

Tip:

1.Use Heavy Bottomed pan

2.Stir well 2 mins once

3.Don't use old spatula some spices are there in wooden spatula. So Milk can easily curdle.use separate spatula for milk sweets.

Mini Badusha Sweet

Badusha is a traditional Indian sweet made with All purpose flour (maida), ghee and coated in sugar syrup.

Servings: 15 Pcs

Maida 1 cup + 1/2 cup
Pinch of salt
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Pinch of Baking Soda

Soya chunks being dense in protein and low in carbs.Soya chunks are a good source of protein for vegetarians; the amount of protein in soya chunks is similar to the amount of protein in a chicken’s breast.
