The world's tallest and shortest women living met for a lush afternoon tea in London to celebrate Guinness World Records Day on Wednesday.

Rumeysa Gelgi, who stands 215.16 centimeters (7 feet 0.7 inches) tall; and Jyoti Amge, who measures just 62.8 centimeters (2 feet 0.7 inches), met at the Savoy Hotel, according to a statement from Guinness World Records on Wednesday. Despite a whopping height gap of 152.36 cm (five feet), the two became fast friends as they sipped traditional English tea and bonded over life experiences and a shared love for fashion and self-care.

Later on, Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief Craig Glenday presented Rumeysa and Jyoti with special certificates acknowledging the two women's mark on society. The certificates celebrated Rumeysa and Jyoti's status as Guinness World Records ICONS: The cream of the crop of record-breaking achievements. (Photos via Guinness World Records)

প্রায় সাড়ে ৭ কোটি বছরের পুরনো এই ৩টি বৃহদাকৃতির পাথরকে উপর থেকে দেখলে মনে হয় যেন তিনটি তিমি সাগর ছেড়ে বনের ভেতর ভুল করে চলে এসেছে। এগুলোকে তাই ডাকা হয় 'Rock of the Three Whales' বা 'তিন তিমির পাথর' নামে। থাইল্যান্ডের বুয়েং কান প্রদেশের এক পাহাড় থেকে বেরিয়ে আসা এই পাথরগুলোর মাঝে দুটোতে পায়ে হেঁটে ওঠা গেলেও আরেকটিতে সেই সুযোগ নেই। থাই ভাষায় এগুলো পরিচিত 'হিন সাম ওয়ান' নামে। ভূ-পৃষ্ঠ থেকে এগুলোর উচ্চতা প্রায় ৯৮০ ফুট।
