INTRODUCTION
Sri Ganesh Productions (Kolkata),started journey from 2005. First venture of this firm is "Songshoy"full length feature film which was selected
for 36th Indian Panorama and took part in IFFI2006.Avijit Banerjee is the man who is behind the screen to run this organization.
From 1989 he started his carrier in film industry as an assistant director. He is constituted attorney of a firm "Adjeet Advertising Agency"from 1994
and still it is serving to its clients,regional and national arena."Adjeet" produces different serials for different regional channels over the decades mostly
under direction of Avijit. "Avijit" and "Adjeet" ,became synonim in television world. Avijit was marketing consultant of different Government undertaking organizations.
In 90's, Avijit became popular to the producers of television,as marketing personal for their serials and documentaries. Avijit produces commissioned program also
for Doordarshan, under the banner of Adjeet,in 1998.More than thousands of episodes telecasted through different channels as director,one of which was brand leader
of a channel.Avijit started 24x7 satelight channel on education also ,under the banner of Adjeet, in the year 2013.But failed to continue. In today's context,
it was very necessary. At that point of time,Idea was times ahead.Mission "Shiksa"was failure.
Avijit directed his documentary"The Konark Code"which was exhibited in Jawaharlal Nehru Children's Museum, London.
Avijit was closely related with Rituporno Ghosh,eminent director of India for a quite long time.
A man with serious thinking along with commercial perception started dreaming under the banner of Sri Ganesh Productions(Kolkata).
Letest venture of this firm is"Ethos of Darkness",a documentary on those peoples,who were ignored by film industry in the past.
But those uncrowned people gave birth of other eminent stars of Indian Cinema.
Journey is still continuing.
