Have you completed the pharmacy course? So how do you get a job in the UAE?
Hi. Hello everyone.
The first thing I am going to say is, have you passed Diploma in Pharmacy, B Pharm, M Pharm, or Pharm D ?
So how do you get a job in the UAE?
How many years of work experience are required for this?
Before saying all this, if you have not yet subscribed to my channel named Thazhum Thakkolum, please subscribe and like and share if you like.

Links to my old videos will be given in the description box to get information about getting admission for these courses.
The first step is to register with the Pharmacy Council as soon as you receive your Diploma in Pharmacy or B Pharm, M Pharm, Pharm D Certificate. The first thing you need to do is get two years of experience after getting the Pharmacy Council registration.
You must be in a pharmacy or hospital to gain experience, as the DATA FLOW process when you come to the UAE is mandatory. In it, the data flow team will come to the pharmacy where you worked and make an inquiry, and then the people in that pharmacy where you gained experience should tell you the same date as on the certificate you gave. So you must give them a copy of their experience certificate. They need to look at it and tell them the exact date.
They will also look into the college where you studied.
Or if you have a chance to get to the UAE before two years, all you have to do is get an experience certificate till the date you work, and then I will tell you what to do at the end of this video.
They issue three types of licenses in the UAE after the exam.
The first is the MOH, which is a Ministry of Health license that allows you to work in the emirates of Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain, and Ras Al Khaimah.
You need a DHA or Dubai Health Authority license to work in Dubai.
If you are in Abu Dhabi, you need a license from the DOH, which is the Department of Health.
With these licenses, you can transfer back and forth.
Now, if you register on their website and come to the UAE with a Prometric exam pass, you can quickly get your license, but in this pandemic case, it is difficult to write Prometric because the examination center in Thiruvananthapuram has been closed for about six months now and you need to get a job in the UAE. You have to come here and attend the exam.
If you are attending the exam after coming here, come here and pay the examination fee.
At the same time, you register with DATA FLOW and they will inquire and report and send it to your e-mail.
Once you have applied for the license, you must attach a Data Flow Report and a GOODSTANDING Certificate from the Pharmacy Council, which you will need to upload and receive within a month of applying to the Pharmacy Council.
But if you want to write the exam in Abu Dhabi, you have to submit the above mentioned papers beforehand.
There you have to join as a trainee pharmacist, but that facility is not available in most pharmacies.
Now let me tell you what to do if you come here without two years of experience.
The first thing you need to do is get a job visa at a pharmacy or hospital here.
Now, if you register on their website and come to the UAE with a Prometric exam pass, you can quickly get your license, but in this pandemic case, it is difficult to write Prometric because the examination centre in Thiruvananthapuram has been closed for about six months now and you need to get a job in the UAE. You have to come here and attend the exam.
Training facilities are allowed only in selected pharmacies.
If you register with those pharmacies, they will give you an experience certificate after completing the training required. You can register for the exam with the experience gained in your home country and the rest gained from here.
But this training facility in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, is much lower than in other Emirate
So it is better that you come here after two years of experience in your home country.
It is important to note that your experience is calculated based on your registration with the Pharmacy Council.
And one important thing, in the country sometimes you work in your own pharmacy or near your next of kin and the name they call you is different.
The person coming in for the dataflow verification will ask for the name on your certificate, and if someone at that pharmacy says that no one has worked here with that name, they will give that report. Then you will never get a license again. A case like this has rarely happened here
