Kuki Film Development Association (KUFIDA) is strongly against the arrest of a renown Kuki Film Director by the Assam Police on June 14,2024.
In the press release, it states that Mr David Khaigoulen Kipgen purchased the Equipment (Drone Battery) only for his upcoming film project and it has nothing to do with the ethnic conflict in the State.
It may be noted that, recently, a self -claimed Climate Activist Lycipriya was seen in public domain launching Crowd funding for the purpose of purchasing thermal Drone for the meitei militia Arambai Tenggol however no legal action has been taken so far against her by any police.

Who are the real Narco-terrorists?
People belonging to the meitei community ( from a school goer to a Social activist, Politician, University Professor falsely branded all Kukis even those who had been settling down in the Imphal valley for generations and working as a Govt employee as Narco-terrorists while the real narco -terrorist are the meitei armed groups.
State sponsored ethnic cleansing has been carried out under the nose of CM Biren singh against the Kukis in the name of War on drugs which is nothing but a nefarious design of the state government to sieze the tribal lands particularly lands dominated by the Kukis.
Hatred against a particular community by falsely labelling them as Narco-terrorists will not bring any positive outcome rather will provoke more hatred between the two communities.
So, the valley dominant community should learn a lesson from two of their Narco-terrorist speakers Mr Khuraijam Athouba & Mahesh Thounaojam, a self styled politician.
The COCOMI Spokesperson's microphone was muted while he was speaking in one of the United Nations conference in Geneva, for his hate speech against the Kukis accusing them as Narco-terrorist who wage war in the state,sidelining the root cause of the conflict. Then he came back with shame.
The second, Mr Mahesh Thounaojam, who contested the Lok Sabha Election 2024 with his hate campaign "Chin -Kuki Narco-terrorist" against the Kukis didn't help him win the election yet lost by a huge margin.

The Genesis of ethnic violence in Jiribam, West Manipur
On May 14, a young Kuki boy Mr Seigoulen Singson from Phaitol went missing and his dead body was dumped into a river and found on 17th May .
The meiteis remained mute. No state political leaders condemned or willing to nab the culprit rather the valley based media houses were unwilling to cover over the brutal murdered of the boy as he belongs to Kuki.
For the next time, last night Kuki houses and Church were firstly attacked, burnt down and also a father of three children belonging to a Kuki community was abducted and killed by the meiteis over the dead of a 59 year old meitei farmer by unknown miscreants suspecting that he might be killed by the kukis for the ongoing ethnic violence.
(The meiteis could not come out with any evidence)
When the Kukis retaliate as they could no longer tolerate their atrocities against them, the biased Imphal media houses,communal leaders from the valley wrote a letter to the President of India to selectively protect them, playing a victim card alleging as if the Kuki militants wage war against them while turning deaf and a blind eye to their atrocities
