I compiled a list of seasonal flowers that you can add to your garden in the summer months to get a butterfly garden.
I didn't add Hibiscus as it's not a seasonal flower and it blooms throughout the year in my place. But you should definitely add this elegant beauty to your list.

Guwahati is under lockdown once again and this time it's stricter then ever, with no access to essential services as well. During this period I am wholly blessed to have access to fresh organic vegetables from my terrace garden. I will not be harvesting everything in one go as I generally do every week. This time I will be harvesting only when I need it.
Since March I have been trying to encourage people to grow their own food. This lockdown should be an eye opener for everyone who has wasted space. If you have a terrace and/or a lawn and you want to grow food and you don't know how, then ask me! I will gladly help you all.
I hope everyone stays safe.
P.S. I have monkey menace problem and therefore I decided to harvest these baby brinjals before the monkeys break my plant.

A dear friend of mine brought this rose plant all the way from Hosur (the rose capital of India) for me. I didn't believe that it will survive our hot and wet summer months. Well, guess what, it decided to bloom in the middle of summer!!! Nature sure does surprises me!
