"Voting for Loksabha elections to Take Place in These 5 Phases in Maharashtra; Check Your Voting Schedule
New Delhi, March 16:
The Election Commission finally announced the schedule for the Lok Sabha elections today afternoon, and now the Model Code of Conduct has been implemented nationwide. As per the schedule released by the Election Commission, voting in Maharashtra will take place in 5 phases. The first phase will be on April 19, followed by the second phase on April 26, the third phase on May 7, the fourth phase on May 13, and the fifth phase on May 20. Each phase will see polling across various Lok Sabha constituencies in the state.
Here's when voting will take place in each phase:
In the first phase, on April 19, constituencies like Ramtek, Nagpur, Bhandara-Gondiya, Gadchiroli-Chimur, and Chandrapur will vote.
In the second phase, on April 26, constituencies including Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Wardha, Yavatmal-Washim, Hingoli, Nanded, and Parbhani will go to polls.
On May 7, in the third phase, areas like Raigad, Baramati, Dharavi, Latur, Solapur, Madha, Sangli, Satara, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Kolhapur, and Hatkanangle will vote.
The fourth phase, on May 13, will see voting in constituencies such as Nanded, Jalgaon, Raver, Jalna, Aurangabad, Maval, Pune, Shirur, Ahmednagar, Shirdi, and Beed.
And finally, in the fifth phase, on May 20, voting will take place in Kalyan, Bhiwandi, Thane, Mumbai North, Mumbai North-West, Mumbai North-East, Mumbai North-Central, Mumbai South-Central, South Mumbai, Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Palghar, making it a total of 13 constituencies.
With polling taking place across all these Lok Sabha constituencies, the results will be announced on a single day, June 4, as clarified by the Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar."
