অমলকান্তি – নীরেন্দ্রনাথ চক্রবর্তী

অমলকান্তি আমার বন্ধু,
ইস্কুলে আমরা একসঙ্গে পড়তাম।
রোজ দেরি করে ক্লাসে আসতো, পড়া পারত না,
শব্দরূপ জিজ্ঞেস করলে
এমন অবাক হয়ে জানলার দিকে তাকিয়ে থাকতো যে,
দেখে ভারী কষ্ট হত আমাদের।

আমরা কেউ মাষ্টার হতে চেয়েছিলাম, কেউ ডাক্তার, কেউ উকিল।
অমলকান্তি সে-সব কিছু হতে চায়নি।
সে রোদ্দুর হতে চেয়েছিল!
ক্ষান্তবর্ষণ কাক-ডাকা বিকেলের সেই লাজুক রোদ্দুর,
জাম আর জামরুলের পাতায়
যা নাকি অল্প-একটু হাসির মতন লেগে থাকে।

আমরা কেউ মাষ্টার হয়েছি, কেউ ডাক্তার, কেউ উকিল।
অমলকান্তি রোদ্দুর হতে পারেনি।
সে এখন অন্ধকার একটা ছাপাখানায় কাজ করে।
মাঝে মধ্যে আমার সঙ্গে দেখা করতে আসে;
চা খায়, এটা-ওটা গল্প করে, তারপর বলে, “উঠি তাহলে।”
আমি ওকে দরজা পর্যন্ত এগিয়ে দিয়ে আসি।

আমাদের মধ্যে যে এখন মাষ্টারি করে,
অনায়াসে সে ডাক্তার হতে পারত,
যে ডাক্তার হতে চেয়েছিল,
উকিল হলে তার এমন কিছু ক্ষতি হত না।
অথচ, সকলেরই ইচ্ছেপূরণ হল, এক অমলকান্তি ছাড়া।
অমলকান্তি রোদ্দুর হতে পারেনি।
সেই অমলকান্তি–রোদ্দুরের কথা ভাবতে-ভাবতে
ভাবতে-ভাবতে
যে একদিন রোদ্দুর হতে চেয়েছিল।

আমাদের নতুন স্বল্প দৈর্ঘ্যের ছবি "Purple Apple" আসিতেছে খুব শীঘ্রই......

A silent short film
The MiddleClass Production এর পক্ষ থেকে
প্রথমে সকলকে অনেক অনেক ধন্যবাদ ও অকৃত্রিম ভালোবাসা আমাদের সাথে থাকার জন্য।
সাহস দেওয়ার জন্য। সকলের গুরত্বপূর্ণ মন্তব্য আমাদের কাজের অনুপ্রেরণা জোগায়। নতুন কিছু প্রচেষ্টার সাহস বাড়িয়ে দেয়। যারা যারা দেখেছেন তাদের ভালোবাসায় যেমন আমরা আপ্লুত ও আনন্দিত । তেমনি সমালোচনাও বিবেচ্য এবং গ্রহনযোগ্য।
আমরা ভিন্ন ভিন্ন স্বাদের আরও অনেক গল্প আপনাদের সামনে খুব শীঘ্রই নিয়ে আসবো, এভাবেই সাথি হয়ে থাকবেন 🌻☮️

"থাকবো না আর ঘরে বসে,
এবার চলো কিছু করি।
ভাবনাগুলোকে এক সুতোয় বেঁধে,
সমাজে তার চিত্র তুলে ধরি।"
এই চিন্তা নিয়েই আমরা গতকাল এক পথ নাটক উৎসবের আয়োজন করেছিলাম। এবং তা যথেষ্ট সফল হয়েছে। আমাদের সখের থিয়েটার গ্রুপ এখন হামাগুড়ি ছেড়ে কাপা কাপা পায়ে হাঁটছে। তার জন্যে "কালিয়াগঞ্জ " এর সমস্ত শিল্পী মনস্ক নাট্য প্রেমী মানুষদের কাছে আমরা চির কৃতজ্ঞ।
আমাদের "প্রজ্জ্বলন" এভাবেই নতুন কিছু প্রতিবার করার চেষ্টা করে যাবে।
আপনাদের সহযোগিতা একান্ত ভাবে কামনা করে আপনাদের "প্রজ্জ্বলন" ।।
