In a significant achievement for tribal cinema, "Angen" (meaning "Invincible"), a short film directed by tribal filmmaker has been officially selected for the 18th Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) 2024.

The film will compete in the Short Fiction and Animation category.

The prestigious festival, organized by the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC) under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, will be held in Mumbai from June 15-21.

This selection highlights Ravi Raj Murmu's exceptional talent and marks an important milestone for tribal filmmakers on the national stage.
