It is very unfortunate and deeply disturbing that a PSI of Jammu & Kashmir Police misbehaved with the Hon’ble Additional Sessions Judge, Poonch yesterday is highly condemnable and unacceptable.
The Judiciary is the protector of the Constitution and the rule of law. Any act of disrespect, arrogance or misconduct towards a Judicial Officer is not just an insult to an individual, but an attack on the dignity of the entire institution of justice.
If this trend continues, public trust in both Police and Judiciary will be shaken. The higher authorities of J&K Police must take immediate strict action against him.
