Newborn Baby Dies In Sopore, Family Alleges Doctors Negligence, Staged Protest.
Sopore May 27 : A newborn baby died in Sopore while the family alleged negligence of the doctors, saying that they didn’t take care.A family from Kralteng Sopore told this correspondent, that the doctors allegedly failed to take proper care of their patient, which has led to the death of their infant.
“Despite repeated pleas, the doctors refused to go for surgery,” they said, adding that the baby got stuck and died with profusely bleeding. “We knocked at the door of the doctor but she didn’t care to attend to the patient. This is sheer negligence of the doctor,” they said.
However, BMO Sopore Dr. Zulfiqar when contacted told that departmental inquiry will be initiated in this regard and report will be furnished soon.
