Scouts and Guides Assembly | IDPS Jammu

A two-day Scouts and Guides assembly was conducted at IDPS Jammu on 1st and 2nd December under the guidance of Ms. Romal Sharma, Guides Coach.

During the assembly, students learned the Prayer Song, Flag Song, Scouts and Guides Pledge, along with the correct pledge sign, salute, and special clap. They were also introduced to the Promises and Laws of Scouts and Guides.

The sessions were interactive and helped students understand the core values of discipline, respect, and teamwork.

Today, our school community came together for a deeply inspiring special assembly dedicated to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, whose supreme sacrifice continues to guide generations toward courage, compassion, and standing up for truth.

The assembly began with a soulful Shabad rendition, followed by a meaningful presentation on Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s life, principles, and his unwavering commitment to protecting religious freedom. Students shared powerful speeches, poems, and reflections that highlighted his message of universal brotherhood, equality, and resilience.

🙏 The assembly was not only a tribute but also an opportunity to remind ourselves of the strength that lies in standing up for righteousness.

🏆 Outstanding Achievement at the Inter-School Roller Skating Competition 2025🛼

, Jammu, organized the Inter-School Roller Skating Competition 2025 under the banner of School Complex, Jammu, on 22nd November 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various reputed schools across the region.

In this competition, of International Delhi Public School brought pride to school by securing two bronze medals 🥉 —one in the 300-meter race and another in the 500-meter race.
Under the expert guidance of Skating Coaches Rajiv Kalotra and Reema Vasundhra, Enaya showcased exceptional skill, determination and confidence, standing out among talented skaters from multiple schools.

Scouts and Guides Pravesh Camp

International Delhi Public School Jammu (17th & 21st Nov 2025)

International Delhi Public School, Jammu successfully organized a two-day Scouts and Guides Pravesh Camp on 17th and 21st November 2025. The camp was conducted with the objective of introducing students to the fundamentals of the Scouts and Guides movement and preparing them for the Pravesh level.

The sessions were taken by Ms. Romal Sharma, the Guides Coach, who guided the students through the essential requirements of the Pravesh badge. Students actively participated in activities such as basic drills, saluting procedure, flag etiquette, simple knots, and an introduction to the Scout/Guide Law and Promise.

Ms. Sharma ensured that the training was interactive and informative, helping students understand the values of discipline, teamwork, helpfulness, and responsibility. The camp also focused on personality development, leadership qualities, and practical skills that help young learners become confident and self-reliant.

The two-day Pravesh Camp concluded successfully, with students displaying great enthusiasm and readiness to move ahead in their Scouts and Guides journey. The programme was well-received and contributed meaningfully to the holistic development of the participants..

🏆 (Grade IX & XI) 🏆

The Inter-House Kabaddi Competition for grade IX and XI was conducted with great enthusiasm among all four houses—Spartans, Trojans, Knights, and Samurai.

The semi-finals were held on 20th November, featuring two exciting matches:
Knights vs Trojans
Samurai vs Spartans

The winning teams—Trojans and Samurai—advanced to the finals.
The final match took place on 21st November, where both houses displayed excellent skill and determination. After a tough and thrilling contest, Team clinched the victory with a lead of 4 points.

Congratulations to all participants for their outstanding sportsmanship.
