When we first went to Aarambh Institute to meet Bhavna Kotwal, we were heartily welcomed by all these kids on our arrival. Seeing how happy and cheerful they were at the institute, we immediately realized that this episode couldn't be simply about one person, but must be about the lives of all those involved.

So, here's our gift to you; A flower of its own kind: "WILDFLOWER"

Have you ever watched a Sunset & wonder why is it so pretty and that one can never get tired of watching them? Why is it that we say "kya mast Mausam ho raha h" mostly in the evening? It's because of how depth works. Compare the first 2 slides and see for yourself which one you find more interesting to look at. Yes! Shadows. Shadows are more critical in creating depth than we normally realize; it's shadows that render depth and makes anything 3D! Now thinking of sunset in the same way you'll find that the sun backlights everything in a sunset and causes long shadows hence enhancing the depth of everything. I'm not saying you should backlight everything but taking notes from this we should think of shadows more and incorporate them in our images to enhance the depth. After all, you cannot embrace light till you are surrounded by dark.

Where should you place your lights? After studying images of various films and commercials as well as doing my own researching, I've found my own philosophy to why and how you can add depth to your cinematography!
