On credible information the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Police Tukaramgate apprehended one Tuhin Kumar Mandal who is running Geetha Clinic, (Piles/Fistula/Fissure Treatment) beside Meena Hospital, Tukaramgate, Hyderabad in the limits of Marredpally Police Station, Hyderabad.

Tuhin Kumar Mandal s/o.Prakash Mandal (late), age: 30 years, Occ: Fake Doctor running Geetha Clinic (Piles treatment) N/o. Habra (V), North 24 Paraganas, West Begnal State, r/o.Lane Opp: Meena Hospital, Tukaramgate, Hyderabad.

Property Seized:- Visiting Cards named Dr.T.K.Mandal of Geetha Clinic, Ointments, tablets, Piles treatment instruments etc.,

The accused is native of Habra Village, North 24 Paraganas District of West Bengal State. He studied up to 10th Class. In the year 2012 he went to Madanapally, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh State and joined as assistant to Dr.Biswas, where he learnt Piles treatment. In the year 2016 he came to Hyderabad and started Piles treatment clinic namely ‘Geetha Clinic’ he is posing to patients as Dr.T.K.Mandal, Specialist for Piles, Fistula, and Fissure, he assuring that if he treated above said illness, such illness never repeat in life time. Actually, he doesn’t have any valid Certificate for treating patients. Thus he is cheating gullible patients.

The climate in Telangana has changed dramatically. Heavy rain fell in many places on Thursday morning. The Hyderabad Meteorological Center has said that rains will occur due to the effect of low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal.

A low pressure is currently forming over West Bengal and Odisha coasts near Northwest Bay of Bengal. Also the period associated with it is spread up to 7.6 km above mean sea level. Against this backdrop, officials of the Meteorological Department said that rains are likely to occur in Adilabad, Karimnagar, Mulugu, Bhupalapalli, Bhadradri-Kothagudem and Siddipet districts. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be rains with thunder and lightning at many places. Against this backdrop, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for the respective districts. Telangana is likely to receive moderate to light rains for the next two days as well, Hyderabad Meteorological Department said. It said that there will be foggy weather for the next four days.

Officials say heavy rain is likely from Thursday (September 21) to September 28. Also, it is expected that the south-west monsoon will leave from 6th to 12th of October. Officials say that as the monsoon is active, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many parts of the country.

Officials say there is a possibility of rain in many states of the country. Meteorological Department officials said that heavy rains with gusty winds are likely to occur in East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Cyberabad police arrested two persons for selling steroids, injections and tablets for stamina boosting and muscle building. Police seized 10 lakh worth materials from the accused. Acting on specific information, the Kollur police along with sleuths of Special Operations Team (SOT), Madhapur zone and anti drug team have arrested Ahmed Bin Abdul Qader, 33, a gym owner-cum-trainer from Chandrayangutta and his associate Md Ibrahim, 27, a cab driver from Mallapur.
Qader is the owner of Fitness Club in Chandrayangutta and has been running the gym for the past one year. "As his earnings through the gym were not sufficient due to lack of customers, he came up with a plan to sell banned stamina-booster injections to attract customers," said SOT DCP MA Rasheed. Qader purchased the injections, steroids and tablets from Ibrahim. He procured each injection vial for 300 and sold it to clients for 1,400," said cops. After Qader was arrested from Kollur, he confessed to police that he kept the drugs in his gym. Accordingly, police seized injections and tablets worth 10 lakh from the gym on Tuesday.

Preparations have begun for the upcoming Assembly elections in Telangana with a comprehensive one-day training program conducted for the police officers on Wednesday.

The training was aimed to enhance their understanding of security modules critical for ensuring a smooth and secure electoral process.

Director General of Police Anjani Kumar revealed that nearly 700 police personnel had been reshuffled in accordance with the Election Commission's directives.

He highlighted the establishment of approximately 80-85 check posts along the inter-state borders with Chattisgarh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Odisha. Integrated with closed-circuit TV cameras, these check points are poised to bolster security measures.

The DGP addressed the officers on various security-related aspects, ranging from vehicle checks for illegal transportation of cash or liquor to the management of polling stations on the election day. He emphasized the importance of maintaining good practices and transparency to ensure peaceful and fair elections.

Telangana's Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj emphasised the dynamic nature of technology and the challenges it poses in the evolving landscape. He noted the extensive media coverage of election-related events and the difficulty in implementing corrective measures swiftly.

The training provided a crucial opportunity for the police officers to adapt to new strategies and techniques for maintaining security during elections.

West Bengal CEO Aariz Aftab offered a detailed presentation on preparatory work leading up to the elections. He discussed the categorisation of polling booths and vulnerability assessments, emphasising criticality assessments as well. His insights encompassed the entire spectrum of security arrangements from pre-polling to post-polling periods.

Cybercriminals are currently impersonating the transport department, sending spurious links for victims to access their pending fines to gain access to their credentials and steal money, the police said.

"If you receive links for traffic challans, don’t click on them. On clicking the links for paying pending challans, it might give fraudsters access to your bank accounts and credentials, resulting in transferring funds from your accounts," a cyber expert said.

Hyderabad DCP (Traffic I) Rahul Hegde said it is usually the traffic wing that sends reminders to people to clear pending challans. "Even if they receive reminders from other sources, they can always verify by first going to the official website to clear traffic challans. There, you can know your pending challans and also make payment securely," he said.

Cybercrime police cautioned the public against clicking on such links from unknown sources. Confirming that there is no complaint related to this type of fraud so far in Telangana, cops said that it could be due to a relatively lower amount being lost in the fraud. However smaller the amount is, people can report the loss. Even if there is no loss, people can report such malicious messages and links, so that others can be saved from the fraud," a cybercrime official said. Dc
