As per the culture if Christians, the worship of idols was by kissing the image or the hand toward the image ( 1 Kings 19:18 ; Hosea 13:2 ). It implies surrender to them. Unfortunately, this culture is being nurtured by our movies, TV serials, OTT movies and trickled down to our teenagers and youth. Nowadays, we see people kissing hand before of moolavirat vigrah in the temple. All of us must correct everyone whom we see doing this in every temple. And object to all media which projects such namaskaaram in temples.
