The democratizing function and emotional element of social media have entrapped us all; we feel heard, noticed, connected and empowered. Exponents of social media appreciate its ability to mobilize ideas and create trends.

What if these ideas were science-oriented? Innovation is rapidly shooting up across the globe, and it is by virtue of digitization and hyper-connectivity that people can learn beyond their interests and their intellectual bubble.
