भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष बोले, जश्न मनाने की तैयारी करे जम्मू, महाराजा हरि सिंह के जन्मदिन पर होगी सरकारी छुट्टी
भाजपा ने 26 अक्टूबर विलय दिवस पर सरकारी अवकाश कराया और अब भाजपा सुनिश्चित करेगी कि महाराजा के जन्मदिन पर सरकारी अवकाश को लेकर जल्द अधिसूचना जारी हो ताकि आने वाले 23 सितंबर को पूरा जम्मू जश्न मना सके। जम्मू-कश्मीर के अंतिम डोगरा शासक महाराजा हरि सिंह के जन्मदिन पर सरकारी अवकाश की मांग को लेकर गर्माई सियासत के बीच आने वाले दिनों में छुट्टी की घोषणा हो सकती है। युवा राजपूत सहित अन्य संगठनों की ओर से छुट्टी की मांग को लेकर 15 सितंबर तक प्रशासन को दिए गए समय से ठीक एक दिन पहले बुधवार को प्रदेश भाजपा अध्यक्ष रविंद्र रैना ने कहा कि जम्मू जश्न मनाने की तैयारी करे। भाजपा सुनिश्चित करेगी कि महाराजा के जन्मदिन पर सरकारी अवकाश घोषित हो। महाराजा के जन्मदिन पर सरकारी अवकाश घोषित करने की मांग को लेकर युवा राजपूत सभा के सदस्य लगातार 14 दिन तक क्रमिक भूख हड़ताल पर रहे। इस बीच, प्रशासन ने उन्हें मांग पर विचार करने का आश्वासन देकर हड़ताल स्थगित करवाई। इसपर युवा राजपूत सभा ने प्रशासन को 15 सितंबर तक समय देते हुए कहा था कि अगर उनकी मांग नहीं मानी गई तो वे आंदोलन तेज करेंगे। प्रदेश भाजपा ने बुधवार को त्रिकुटा नगर स्थित पार्टी मुख्यालय में जम्मू की सिविल सोसायटी व व्यापारिक संगठनों के प्रतिनिधियों के साथ बैठक करते हुए कहा कि महाराजा हरि सिंह डोगरों की आन-बाल-शान हैं और उनके जन्मदिन पर अवकाश घोषित करवाकर भाजपा जम्मूवासियों की भावनाओं का सम्मान करेगी। बैठक में इसे लेकर सर्वसम्मति से प्रस्ताव भी पारित किया गया। बैठक में विभिन्न सामाजिक, धार्मिक, व्यापारिक, औद्योगिक, ट्रांसपोर्टर व छात्र संगठनों के प्रतिनिधियों को संबोधित करते हुए भाजपा के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष रविंद्र रैना ने कहा कि जम्मू-कश्मीर के इतिहास में महाराजा हरि सिंह के योगदान को कभी बुलाया नहीं जा सकता। रैना ने कहा कि भाजपा लंबे अर्से से महाराजा के सम्मान में सरकारी अवकाश की मांग करती आई है। भाजपा ने 26 अक्टूबर, विलय दिवस पर सरकारी अवकाश कराया और अब भाजपा सुनिश्चित करेगी कि महाराजा के जन्मदिन पर सरकारी अवकाश को लेकर जल्द अधिसूचना जारी हो, ताकि आने वाले 23 सितंबर को पूरा जम्मू जश्न मना सके। बैठक में अरोड़ा वंश सभा के प्रधान रमेश अरोड

नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले जम्मू के स्कूली वाहनों पर यातायात विभाग ने कसा शिकंजा
शहर की सड़को पर चलने वाली स्कूली बसों को यातायात नियमों का पालन करने की यातायात विभाग और ट्रैफिक पुलिस जम्मू ने हिदायत दी है। यातायात विभाग ने शहर के सभी निजी व सरकारी स्कूलों के साथ अटैच वाहनों को पीला रंग करवाने और सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा जारी सभी निर्देशों का पालन करने को कहा है। शहर के लगभग सभी स्कूलों ने अपने बच्चों को लाने ले जाने के लिए बसों का काफिला रखा है जो बच्चों के अभिभावकों से ट्रांसपोर्ट के नाम पर हर महीने माेटा किराया भी वसूलते हैं। उनमें से कुछ ऐसे स्कूल भी हैं जिनकी बसें नियमों का पालन नहीं करती और कई बच्चे अपनी ही बस के कारण पेश आए हादसे में जान तक गंवा चुके हैं। इसके अलावा कई निजी ट्रांसपोर्टरों ने भी अपने वाहनों को स्कूल के साथ अटैच किया हुआ है। बच्चों की सुरक्षा को देखते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने भी स्कूली बसों के लिए निर्देश जारी किए थे लेकिन सख्ती न होने के कारण स्कूली बसें उन आदेशों का भी पालन नहीं कर रहीं। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इन बसों को गति सीमा को बनाए रखने के लिए उनमें स्पीड गवर्नर भी लगाने के निर्देश जारी किए थे लेकिन बहुत ही कम स्कूली बसें हाेगी जिनमें स्पीड गवर्नर लगाए गए हैं। बसों में क्षमता से अधिक बच्चों को भी बिठाया नहीं जा सकता लेकिन स्कूली बसों में बच्चों को ठूस ठूस कर भरा हुआ देखा जा सकता है। रीजनल ट्रांसपोर्ट आफिसर (आरटीओ) घनश्याम सिंह का कहना है कि एआरटीओ पवन गुप्ता की देखरेख में विभाग की एक टीम का गठन किया गया है जो शहर के चौक चौराहों में औचक नाके लगाकर यह सुनिश्चित कर रहे है कि यातायात नियमों का पालन होे। मुनाफे के चक्कर में जो वाहन नियमों का पालन नहीं करते उन्हें मौके पर ही जुर्माना करने के अलावा वाहन को जब्त भी किया जा रहा है। स्कूली बसों के लिए सर्वोच्च न्यायालय से जारी निर्देश के अनुसार स्कूल बसों का रंग पीला होना चाहिए। स के आगे और पीछे स्कूल बस लिखा होना चाहिए। अगर बस किराए पर ली है तो उस पर आन स्कूल ड्यूटी लिखना अनिवार्य है। बस में फर्स्ट एड बाक्स भी होना चाहिए। बसों में स्पीड गवर्नर भी लगा होना चाहिए। बसों की खिड़कियों पर ग्रिल लगी होनी चाहिए। बस में अग्निशमन यंत्र भी अनिवार्य है। स्कूल बस का दरवाजा लॉक होना चाहिए। सीटों के नीचे स्कूल बैग रखने क

J&K SI Recruitment Scam | CBI conducts searches at around 36 locations across several states
New Delhi, September 13: Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting searches at around 36 locations in various parts of the country in connection with an ongoing probe into a case related to an alleged sub-inspector recruitment scam in Jammu and Kashmir.
The probe agency has so far recovered incriminating documents and digital evidence during searches.
Among the 36 locations where the searches are underway include Jammu, Srinagar in J-K; Karnal; Mahendergarh; Rewari in Haryana; Gandhidham in Gujarat; Delhi; Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and Bangalore in Karnataka at the premises of former Chairman, J-K Services Selection Board (JKSSB); then Controller of Examination of JKSSB; Gang members domiciled in Haryana; certain teachers; some serving/retired officials of J-K Police including a DSP and also CRPF.
According to a probe agency statement, the CBI had registered a case on August 3, 2022, at the request of the J-K Government against 33 accused including then Medical Officer, BSF Frontier Hqrs, Paloura; then Member, JKSSB; then Under Secretary, then Section Officer (both of JKSSB); Ex-Official of CRPF; ASI of J-K Police; Owner of a coaching centre, Akhnoor; private company based at Bengaluru; private persons and unknown others on the allegations of irregularities in written examination for the posts of Sub-Inspectors in the J-K Police conducted by J-K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) on March 27, 2022.
The results were declared on June 4 this year, following which it was alleged that there were malpractices in the examination.
“The J-K Govt had constituted an Inquiry Committee to look into the same. It was alleged that the accused entered conspiracy among officials of JKSSB, Bengaluru based private company, beneficiary candidates & others, and caused gross irregularities in the conduct of written examination for the posts of Sub-Inspectors,” said the statement.

District Library Kathua Organises awareness program on Nasha Mukt Abhiyan

Kathua, September 13: District library, Kathua today organised an awareness programme on ‘Nasha Mukt Abhiyan' to educate people about ill effects of drug consumption.

On the occasion, many Speakers including Librarian Sunil Sharma, Madan Lal Toofan (Retd. IRS), Advocate Appu Singh Salathia, Social Activist Shashi Sharma and Poet Santosh Dhiman put forth their views on the Narcotic and Psychotropic substances.

Madan Lal Toofan,Retd. IRS shared his service experience and expertise on the illegal substances.

Advocate Appu Singh Slathia, informed about the provisions of NDPS Act of 1995, added that the situation is quite alarming in view of increased numbers of drug addicts.

All the guest speakers emphasised on the power of constructive focus of life; willpower; meditation and positive attitude to overcome the drug menace.

Social activist Shashi Sharma asked the students to instill values of Shaheed Bhagat Singh for a better society and concentrate all their energies towards the well-being of Kathua.

Poet Santosh Dhiman put forth his impeccable poetic views on Drug menace.

Student speaker Aakriti Sharma vehemently discussed the role of Indian geography; glamorization by the social media and lack of sensitization which has led to the sudden increase in the drug culture of India, especially in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.

Other speakers, Neha and Vivek threw light on the physical, mental and the psychological impacts of the use of illegal substances on humans and the best possible ways of rehabilitating an addict.

The programme culminated with nasha mukt pledge with the resolve of taking more imperative steps to deal with the drug abuse in both in Kathua and the country at large.

MBBS student from Bijbehara dies in Bangladesh

A girl student from South Kashmir’s Anantnag district has died in Bangladesh where she was pursuing MBBS even as her family has appealed to the authorities to help them bring her body back home.

One of the family members told the news agency that Khusboo Manzoor daughter of Manzoor Ahmad of Katoo village of Bijbehara fell off her hostel building of the college on Tuesday, following which she was in ICU, however, succumbed to her injuries today.
He said that she was pursuing Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Medical College in Bangladesh

यौन उत्पीड़न के आरोपी जम्मू विश्विधालय के मनोविज्ञान के एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर ने की आत्महत्या
जम्मू विश्वविद्यालय के मनोविज्ञान विभाग में कार्यरत एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर चंद्रशेखर ने अपने कार्यालय में फंदा लगाकर खुदकुशी कर ली है.बताया गया है कि फंदा लगाने के एक घंटा पहले ही एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर को उनका निलंबन पत्र मिला थाऔर यह पत्र जम्मू विवि के रजिस्ट्रार की तरफ से लिखा गया था।
एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर चंद्रशेखर के खिलाफ एक सितंबर को विभाग की 22 से 23 छात्राओं ने एक साथ डीन स्टूडेंट वेलफेयर के पास शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी कि चंद्रशेखर उनका यौन उत्पीड़न कर रहे हैं। शिकायत के बाद इस मामले को जांच के लिए जम्मू विश्वविद्यालय यौन उत्पीड़न आंतरिक शिकायत समिति के पास भेज दिया गया.बुधवार 7 सितंबर को शाम 4 से 5 बजे के बीच जम्मू विश्वविद्यालय के रजिस्ट्रार का एक कर्मचारी निलंबन का पत्र लेकर चंद्रशेखर के कमरे में पहुंचा और इसके आधे घंटे के बाद ही चंद्रशेखर ने कमरा अंदर से बंद कर लिया और जब कमरा का दरवाजा तोडा गया तो पाया कि प्रोफेसर ने फंदे से लटककर आत्महत्या कर ली है
