आगामी श्रावण महिनाकाे साेमवार सम्पन्न हुने गेजिङ क्याङसा स्थित विन्ध्यावासीनी देवी मन्दिर साथै काँशी खगेश्वर महादेव मन्दिर सञ्चालन समितिकाे सभा आज मन्दिरमा सम्पन्न भयो।मन्दिर समितिले लिएको निर्णय अनुसार पहिलो साेमवार जल अर्पणकाे निम्ति गेजिङ मन्दिरबाट खेचीपेरी पाेखरी जानकाे लागि चारवटा गाडी निशुल्क उपलब्ध गराएको छ । खेचीपेरी पाेखरी जानू हुने भक्तजनहरू बिहान 6 बजे अघि मन्दिरमा उपस्थित हुनुपर्ने छ।गुरु पण्डितहरूद्वारा सबैकाे सङकल्प गरिने छ भने एक जना पण्डितकाे साथमा 7 बजे बिहान पाेखरी तर्फ प्रस्थान गरिने छ।पाेखरीमा पुगेर त्याहाँ पनि पुजाका साथ जल उठाइने छ भने पुनः मन्दिरमा ल्याएर पुजा विधि सँग जल अर्पण गरिने निर्माण लिएको छ।काेही पनि जान चहानु हुने भक्त जनहरूले तल दिएको नम्बरमा सम्पर्क गर्ने सक्नु हुने छ।यो सुविधा प्रत्येक साेमबार रहने छ।यसरी नै मन्दिरमा दिनभरि पुजा सँगै प्रसाद पनि वितरण गरिने छ।

Medhavi Skills University Bagged Medals for Sikkim at India Skills Competitions 2024 setting the pace for World Skills Competition, France.
Medhavi Skills University (MSU), Sikkim, is thrilled to announce an inspiring milestone achieved by its students at the India Skills Competitions 2024. As the youngest university in India to secure medals at this prestigious National event, MSU has now set its candidature for the 46th World Skills Competition in Lyon, France, during September 2024. Also, this has brought glory to the state for its first-time representation in India Skills Competition.
We are immensely proud of our Skill Champions, Radhika Chettri (2nd year, B. Sc. in Emergency Medical Technology) and Krishna Kumari Mukhia Sunwar (2nd year, B. Sc. in Radiology & Imaging Technology) who have demonstrated exceptional talent and resilience and have secured a Silver, and Bronze medal at the prestigious India Skills competition 2024 respectively in Health and Social care Category. Originating from humble backgrounds in Ben, South Sikkim, and Adarsh Goan, East Sikkim, respectively, these fourth-semester students from Medhavi Skills University's School of Healthcare have journeyed from the tranquil landscapes of Sikkim to the forefront of national recognition. Demonstrating exceptional skill and determination, they've soared through regional and national competitions, clinching Silver and Bronze at India Skills, thus proudly representing the shining Sikkim and the North East.
India Skills Competition hosted by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) is India’s largest skills competition organised every 2 years, for the selection of the National Team to represent India at World Skills Competition (known as Skills Olympics) thereby turning the dream of young people into reality, propelling them towards a brighter future. This year, the event has witnessed the participation of 2.5 lakh youth aspirants across the country from 30+ States and Union Territories categories starting with District and State level competitions. Finally, 900+ candidates in 47 Skill categories across the country were selected for the Nationals in Delhi to finalise the Top 3.

Their journey of Krishna and Radhika began with the Track-2 competition for Health & Social Care category for Eastern Region organized by Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), where they emerged as the top contenders. Subsequently, they were trained by the expert Faculty and Mentors of MSU for the National Level Competition. This achievement not only highlights their dedication and hard work but also underscores the unwavering support of MSU's faculty and management to nurture young talents for global platforms.
MSU's achievements at India Skills 2024 mark a significant milestone, not only for the university but also for the state of Sikkim. The university community is eagerly preparing a grand welcome to honor Radhika and Krishna for their outstanding accomplishments. अनेक अप्ठ्यारा बाटाहरू, उकालो, ओरालो, खोला, पहरा, खस्रो, चिप्लो सबै हिँडेर गाउँ - गाउँ पुग्ने र दुःख – सुख बुझ्ने, न आत्तिने, न मात्तिने, रीस-राग, छल आदिबाट नितान्त टाढ़ा रहने, साधारण परिवारबाट रहेका, हलो-कोदालो, खेती किसान र सामान्य जीवनशैली पार गरेर अघि आएका, समाजलाई दुःख-सुखमा हरघडी साथ दिने, प्रबल नेतृत्व क्षमता र सुशील व्यक्तित्वका धनी एकमात्र नेता हुन्, श्री लोकनाथ शर्मा, एसकेएम पार्टीको गेजिङ - बर्मेक समष्टिका उम्मेद्वार।

2019 मा विधायक भएपछि समष्टिको स्याहार, सुस्याहारमा शर्माले आफ्नो बलबुतो र बुद्धिले भ्याएजति सर्वस्व लगाए। पाँच वर्षको आफ्नो समय जनतालाई समर्पण गरे, विकासको खोलो बगाए। पछाडिएको गेजिङ – बर्मेकलाई कामले चिन्हाए, पूर्वाधार भित्र्याए, गेजिङ – बर्मेकले वसन्त देख्यो, पाउलो फेऱ्यो, समष्टिको उन्नति र विकासका लागि श्री लोकनाथ शर्माले पर्याप्त गरे। (समय, केवल पाँच वर्षमा)

एउटा कुरा पक्का हो, लोकनाथ शर्मा पटक्क रिसाउँदैनन्, झर्किँदैनन् पनि। कुरा सबैका सुन्छन्, हुनेलाई हुन्छ नहुनेलाई हुँदैन भन्दिन्छन्, तुर्लुङ बनाएर जनतालाई अल्झाउने र पर्खाउने प्रवृत्तिबाट उनी नितान्त टाढा छन्, सहयोग सबैलाई गर्छन्।

सामाजिक कार्जे मरौपरौ, बिहेबटुलो, सबै जातिय तथा धार्मिक कार्यक्रम र अन्य निम्तोलाई सहर्ष स्वीकारेर कुनै हालतमा पनि पुग्छन्, पक्ष-विपक्ष, निम्न – शीर्ष, धनी – गरीब र अन्य पक्षपाती नीतिमा डुबुल्की मार्न चाहँदैनन्, युवालाई उक्साउँदैनन्, भड्काउँदैनन्, शान्ति कायम गर्नमा महत्त्व दिन्छन्। यसैले उनलाई जनताले माया गरेका छन्, चाहेका र रूचाएका छन्।

गेजिङ बर्मेकका जनतालाई अझ सुविधा दिनका निम्ति जनताको माग स्वीकार गरेर सम्माननीय पार्टी अध्यक्षले श्री लोकनाथ शर्मालाई उम्मेद्वार बनाएर पठाउनुभो। पाँच वर्ष एसकेएम पार्टीको सरकारले गेजिङ बर्मेकलाई गुण लगाएको छ, अब जनताको पालो गुण फर्काउने हो। फेरि पनि श्री लोकनाथ शर्मालाई विजय गराएर क्षेत्रमा थालिएका कामहरूलाई पूरा गरिनुपर्ने छ, विकासशील गेजिङ बर्मेकलाई अबको पाँच वर्षमा पूर्ण विकसित बनाउनुपर्ने छ। पीएस गोले, एसकेएम पार्टी अनि लोकनाथ शर्माबाट मात्र यो सबै सम्भव छ।

Medhavi Skills University Duo Secures Spots at World Skills 2024 Pre-Nationals, Eye Global Glory!

In an extraordinary milestone for both Medhavi Skills University and the state of Sikkim, Radhika Chettri and Krishna Kumari Mukhia have etched their names in history as the first participants from Sikkim to secure coveted positions at the Pre-National Competition of World Skills Competition. Radhika, a second-year student pursuing a Diploma in Emergency Medical Technology, and Krishna, also in her second year, specializing in Radiology & Imaging Technology, hailing from humble backgrounds in Ben, South Sikkim and Adarsh Goan, East Sikkim, have demonstrated outstanding skills in the Health and Social Care category, standing out amidst a competitive field.

Their journey to the Pre-Nationals began with a standout performance at the Track-2 Competitions of India Skills (Eastern Region), where they emerged victorious among 30+ participants from across the eastern and northeastern regions. This triumph not only earned them recognition but also granted them the honor of representing Sikkim on a national platform. With the upcoming competition set to take place in Delhi in April 2024, the duo is poised to face formidable challenges as they vie for top honors in their fields.

Radhika Chettri, reflecting on their groundbreaking achievement, shared her newfound appreciation for the India Skills competition, stating, "I did not fully comprehend the significance of such competitions until now. With rigorous training and support from our faculty members, we have been equipped with the necessary skills to excel at this level. Having secured a spot in the pre-nationals, I urge everyone to actively participate. I am eagerly looking forward to competing at the national and international levels under the esteemed guidance of Medhavi Skills University."

Krishna Kumari Mukhia, echoing similar sentiments, expressed gratitude for the life-changing experience, remarking, "Participating in this competition has been transformative. (1) सर्वप्रथम त यस क्षेत्रका धेरै शिक्षीत बिराेजगार युवाहरूले विभिन्न विभागमा राेजगार पाएर काम गरिरहेका छन।

(2 ) धेरै शिक्षीत युवाहरू कुशल ठिकादार बन्ने अवसर पाएर अहिले ठूला साना कामहरू गरिरहेका छन।

Medhavi Skills University Concludes its Annual Fest ‘Expression 2024’ with a Spectacular Grand Finale

Medhavi Skills University has successfully concluded its highly anticipated annual fest, Expression 2024, leaving an unforgettable impression on participants and spectators alike. Spanning a week of vibrant celebrations starting from February 19th, the event served as a showcase of the exceptional talents and skills embedded within the university's students and faculty across sports and cultural events.

Shri Akshay Sachdeva, IPS - DGP, Law and Order, Government of Sikkim, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, inspiring the students to actively participate in extracurricular activities and astonishing the audience with his remarkable cultural performance. MEDHAVI SKILLS UNIVERSITY SETS THE STAGE FOR THE GRAND FINALE OF EXPRESSION 2024
Medhavi Skills University is abuzz with excitement as it is set to host the grand finale of its annual fest, Expression 2024. The event, inaugurated on 19th February, has been a week-long extravaganza featuring a plethora of pre-events, including Decoration Competition, Treasure Hunt, Cricket tournaments, and more. These activities have not only ignited enthusiasm among students and faculty but also set the stage for the main festivities.
Throughout the week, participants have engaged in a variety of competitions spanning both sports and cultural categories. In the sports arena, disciplines such as Futsal, Volleyball, Badminton, Throwball, Kabbadi, and Tug of War have showcased the athleticism and teamwork of the university's finest. Today marked the pinnacle of skill, spirit, and unwavering determination as the finals for both Indoor and Outdoor sports unfolded at the prestigious MSU Sports Arena. Expression - The Intra University Fest, captivating participants from Bermiok and Singtam Campuses alike, reached its climax as students showcased their prowess across a diverse array of categories.

From heart-pounding clashes on the football pitch to electrifying rallies on the volleyball court and strategic battles on the chessboard, competitors left nothing to chance in their pursuit of victory. In addition to traditional sports, unconventional events like Arm Wrestling and Mobile Photography injected an extra dose of excitement into the festivities.

Official Inauguration Marks Commencement of Expression 2k24 at Medhavi Skills University
