SAFWANA ART AWARDS
Safwana Art Award will be conducting in two phases:
Phase 1: School Awards. Phase 2: Open Awards.

Phase 1: School Awards There will be two types of awards in school.
1. Groups will be representing the school in Dance & Music Awards. These groups will be participating on behalf of the school. In Dance criteria there are two categ
ories Indian & Western and in Music there is only Western category. Dance category includes any Indian traditional dance or any western dance form. While in Music there is Group Vocal (Singing) only.
**There will be only 1 winner in each category i.e. Dance & Music respectively. And the winners will perform in Award night. TIME LIMITS:
Dance: 5 to 10 minutes
Music: Up to 6 minutes
CATEGORIES:
Dance: Indian classical, Semi-classical, Folk & all western dance forms. Music: Western (Pop/Bollywood/etc)
PROCEDURE:
1. Schools will receive a proposal letter for the event (SAA) or they can visit the page facebook.com/safwanaartawards or our website (www.evecrates.com) for the information regarding this event.
2. Firstly schools have to register themselves through our online registrations or by email at [email protected]. (Registration is free of cost & amount will be charged in future)
3. Then they have to prepare performances for which they are applying.
4. For the selection of performances an audition will be conducted in the school, where our judging panel will reach & judge the performances.
5. The audition will be conducted by schools in their respective campus.
6. The date of audition will be decided by manual communication b/w schools and our crew.
7. Judges decision will be the final decision.
8. The winners of Dance & Music categories will be performing in the Award night LIVE.
9. The performances of winners for the award night will be redefined by our choreographers.
*Terms and Conditions:
1. Registration is free of cost & no amount will be charged in future also.
2. Performances should be in groups.
3. Maximum time duration for each performance is 10 min’s for Dance & 6 min’s for Music.
4. Dance category has no criteria; performances could be western or Indian.
5. Music category has limit. Groups have to select 1 song from the selective category of songs provided by SAA Team.
6. Last date of registrations & auditions is 20th of August for the schools.
7. All age groups can participate in the competition.

Phase 2: Open Awards
There are two categories in Opens.
1. Music
These are solo performances of dance & music category. In Dance criteria there is Indian & Western dance category while in Music there are 5 categories; Vocal, Guitarist, Bass Guitarist, Keyboard, Drummer.
**There will be only 1 winner in each of the following categories around the Gwalior division. Winner will be decided by online voting only. TIME LIMITS:
Dance: 3 to 5 minutes. Music: Up to 4 minutes
CATEGORIES: Dance: Indian classical, Semi-classical, Folk & all western dance forms. Music: All
PROCEDURE:
1. Firstly participants have to register themselves at our given address with proper ID or address or college proof of Gwalior. [Scan copy at Mail]
2. Then, participants have to record a HD video of their performance and submit it to us.
3. The sent video will be judged by our judging panel.
4. If the performance is qualified then it will be uploaded to our channel/page online.
5. On the basis of public voting online (Hits & Likes) winner will be decided.
***In open awards there is no second chance, your first performance in the video is your last performance. Only that video can makes you win or loose this competition.
*Terms and Conditions:
1. Time duration for Dance is 3 to 5 minutes maximum & for Music is 4 minutes maximum.
2. For open competition filmy & non-filmy categories are acceptable.
3. Props can be used in Dance if required by the individuals.
4. To submit your Entry, you must: provide the video to our crew in a recorded CD/DVD. Complete and submit the entry form provided by our crew with valid ID proof.
5. It takes 24 to 48 hours to verify & upload your video.
6. Your Entry must be professionally videoed. No Entry will be accepted if it's not at a real live competition and not professionally videoed. We don't want you dancing in your living room or having your routine recorded on a smart phone or hand held camera (remember that the viewers need a clean view of your routine). All competitions these days provide a video service to get your routine videoed and most of them give you an option now to have it in a format where you can upload it easily to websites.
7. The video must have been recorded on or after July 1st 2014. People will know if you have been sneaky and uploaded an old video and we don't want to remove anyone. We want you to dance your best and see how you rank in the competition. Anyone caught uploading an old video of themselves or of an old routine you did previously will be automatically disqualified.
8. AGE for the CONTESTANT: There is no age variations b/w the contestants of Dance & Music. Public will decide who is competing; according to their age.
9. We reserve the right to verify eligibility of all entrants. Entries submitted by entrants who do not meet the eligibility requirements (including all requirements with respect to video, id proof and competitive dance competitions) are void.
10. Video recorded must be HD in compatible format and has no editing, cutting, one shot & has single frame.
11. Winners of open competition will not get the chance to perform in the Award night. They will receive awards & trophies there.
12. *Only 1 or 2 candidate of any category will get the chance to perform on Award night, if they showcase amazing performances.
13. Last date for submission of your video is 20th August 2014. Early submission will help you in earning votes.
