A proud moment for all of us at Lumapix Creative Studios.
Our animated short film “Chyimi” is being screened at the inaugural International Film Festival of Jammu & Kashmir (IFFJK).

From the Northeast to a national film platform. We’re thrilled to see Chyimi find a new audience and celebrate the creativity, culture, and stories that inspire us.

Kintsugi received an Honorable Mention in the Foreign Language Short Film Category at the 4th Pattaya Short Film Contest, part of Pattaya International Film Festival 2026.

We went into this hoping for a strong showing. We didn't expect to come home with an award. The film is set in Assam, made by a small team, and it's been recognized on an international stage.

Thank you to the organisers and the DASTA team for running a competition this well, and for the warmth they showed us throughout. Grateful to the judges for the care they put into every entry and the other filmmakers, glad to be sharing the stage with you.

This trip was also a step for the Assam AVGC-XR Development Association (AADA) in connecting Assam's creative industry with festivals and filmmakers abroad.

Assam to Thailand. More stories to come.

From Northeast to the BRICS creative ecosystem. 🌏
Lumapix Creative Studios was proud to be part of BRICS WAVES Bazaar 2026, hosted by NFDC and WAVES Film Bazaar in Mumbai.
The event brought together studios, creators and organisations from across BRICS nations, opening conversations around collaboration, partnerships and the future of the creative economy.
For Lumapix, it was an opportunity to build international connections while also contributing to the growth of Assam’s AVGC-XR ecosystem through AADA.
We also worked alongside Parichay Animation Studio on MoU initiatives with MEAI, GDAI and ICA, while exploring possibilities for strengthening animation festivals and networks in Northeast India.
Another important conversation focused on building animation festivals in Northeast India, starting with Assam, creating stronger pathways for regional creators to connect with the wider national and international animation community.

A sincere thank you to NFDC, Shri Ashish Kulkarni, Shri Ankur Bhasin, Shri Bhaskar Saha, Shri Sabbir Hussain and Shri Debarshi Brahma for creating a platform where these conversations could happen.
