Derek Roddy has forever changed the face of Extreme Metal drumming and, has fast become one of the more influential drummers in that field today. Derek is by no means the originator of the blast beat but, one of it's biggest innovators, pioneer and educators, propelling Blast Beat drumming to the forefront of modern playing, in ways no other Extreme Drummer had done before him..

Joi Barua
Joi Barua is an Indian musician who works at the intersection of folklore and rock music. Having worked with tribal communities of the North East, he also works with the Indian Film Industry as a Composer/Producer/Singer. As of now currently engaged in a future musical about Artificial Intelligence at Abbey Road Studios London with musicians from across the world as well as the London Symphony Orchestra.

Third Headliner for Rocka Rolla Music Awards ..Rubella started in the year 1994, rocking the then limited venues and events across Assam. The current line up, comprising Makfur (Guitars), Pankaj (Bass), Silman (Guitars), Sajid (Drums) and Anup (Vocals), is the culmination of multiple permutations and combinations since 2018. Known for his soul-stirring melodies and captivating stage presence, Joi Barua promises to set the stage on fire with his unparalleled talent.🔥
Joi Barua is an Indian artist whose music encompasses Rock, Soul, Jazz & World Music. His original music is inspired by folklore, mythology & the history of North East India. He works in the Indian Movie Industry as a Composer/Singer and has been part of genre defining & multi award winning films such as Dev D, Udaan, Zindagi na Milegi Dobara, Margarita With A Straw & Laila Majnu. He has lately been involved with the London Symphony Orchestra & the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - London, in creating Orchestral Music around a story of Artificial Intelligence & future life. His forays into understanding Assamese ethnicity have taken him into the histories of Assam's plural tribal identity in particular, and the North East Of India, in general.
Joi Barua has also been an active voice in speaking up for the eco system and the bio diversity of the forest belts in the North East of India, and the indigenous identities of its citizens.
