We are very very sorry to see this kind of religious desecration against Christianity!

The statue of Mother Mary is Broken at Usri of Jabalpur Diocese, M.P.

On December 23rd, two unknown persons came and took away the statue of Mother Mary from the grotto at Usri Village in Narsingpur which is part of Jabalpur Diocese. Later, the statue was found near the power station in Usri which is one kilometre away from the Grotto. It was found fully broken.
As soon as the Christian Community came to know about the incident, they informed the police, who arrived and started the investigation, and then filed an FIR, At Mungwani Police station. The District Collector as well as the Superintendent of Police was informed about the seriousness of the incident. Usri Parish is entrusted to CMI Fathers of Bhopal Province.
At present there are no problems for the faithful and we had a meaningful celebration of Christmas on the 24th night. Please continue to remember us in your prayers.
