From the SDF party headquarters at Indira Bye-pass, I flagged off the Party's drive to distribute hand sanitizers, masks, informational handouts for precaution & prevention, and thermal scanners for border entry points. Hand sanitizers and masks will be distributed across the state. Addressing the media, I stressed on the need for taking preventive measures seriously to safeguard oneself from the virus.
The masks, sanitizers and handouts were first given to the members of the media. In this moment of crisis, the SDF party stands with the Sikkimese people and is ever ready to extend our cooperation with the government of Sikkim in fighting this pandemic. Let's all stand united in our fight to prevent coronavirus from entering our blessed land.
