I have always been fascinated by listening to stories about women who shook the world. Mythical stories about Goddess Durga and Kali attracted me since my childhood. In the year 2020, my friend Devyosha Chakraborty asked me to make something related to Durgapuja and Mahalaya. I have seen many Agomoni videos before but I wanted to make it a bit different so I prepared the script. However, I had no idea how to get things done. When I started my YouTube channel, I used to shoot on my smartphone. I had no contacts, nothing at all. That's when one of my friends Sayan Mukherjee suggested me to post ad on popular Facebook groups regarding actors, models and MUA. My brother Saikat Bhattacharjee Sandy at that time was in Kolkata. But he is such a darling, he casted our lead AArith Paul Dada as the journalist, who is once again an angel in disguise. I was all alone with only Trisha by my side. The cinematographer whom we contacted didn't show up on the first day of shoot. We had to take mobile shots on the very first day. Even we couldn't adjust time with our Makeup artist. So from makeup to shoot was managed single handedly by me and Trisha. Even today I am feeling so sorry Manimala Maji we couldn't provide you with professional makeup. From the second day of shoot our Makeup artist Susmita Ghosal Das joined us. She is a living goddess for me🙏. So much selfless efforts, I don't have words to thank you dear. Everyday I left home at 9am and reached Susmita's studio (10hrs shoot every single day). It took 5-6 hrs everyday to get our goddesses ready. On the second day of shoot our second dop left in the middle, we contacted a third dop. I was devastated and feeling helpless facing so many obstacles on the way. On the third day again our cinematographer didn't show up. We contacted our 4th dop. He was such a great human being Sagar Kora but unfortunately from the very next day he fell ill. My brother and I convinced our 2nd Dop Suman Pal to help us complete the shoot. It was an eleven days journey but full of obstacles. Sometimes it was the weather and with winter approaching the sun would set early so we faced problems with light. I met many new persons on this journey who had been thoroughly helpful and supportive and some even helped me financially. I am really grateful to all those wonderful persons. 2 days before the shoot I was tested corona positive. My team members managed the remaining shoot without me (shooting without director), Tapas da played a great role throughout the journey. As the film was based on Durga Puja so it would have been a flop to release it after puja. So within two days we had to finish dubbing and editing (again without me). But finally we made it, the team effort is highly commendable. The film was a hit and now it bagged two trophies back to back in the ICFF Season 2 Finale.

Feeling so proud to share the new poster of our short film "৯ আদ্যাশক্তি" that recently won two awards at the Indie Cine Film Fest - Season 2. This is the first success of our Production that is heading towards its two years anniversary. I would be forever grateful to my super supportive friends Sulagna, Trisha, Krishnendu, Apurba, Anwesha, Baisakhi, Somasree, Rohit, Sashi, Masuma di, Sridipta & Anjan, my brother Saikat, the cast, our makeup artist Susmita, the dop(s) Suman, Sagar da, Sougoto, editor Irshad. Most importantly Tapas da (you are such a great friend and a person with a big, big heart) we all owe you for this success. It was a shooting of 11 days in a row before Durga Puja and that too brought me Covid😅. But this success proves that hardwork always pays off❤️❤️❤️❤️

The present scenario of Covid-19 Pandemic is heartwrenching for all of us. People are getting affected by the deadly virus every single day, many are losing their loved ones. Our condolences, prayers and support are with those who are fighting the pandemic throughout the country.
This movie is not intended to hurt anyone's feelings or sentiments. This is solely for entertainment. There are so many people out there today, who are depressed, living in isolation and struggling to smile amidst the current situation. Our movie "COFFEE WITH CORONA" will premiere today at 3PM on our Youtube channel just to lighten the environment for a while and to provide a bit of comic relief. However, we haven't promoted anything negative or about coronavirus in the movie.
