After 29 February RBI cancelled Paytm Payment Bank licence
Here is the some major points
1. There are multiple bank accounts have been opened with the same PAN card.
2. There are many such bank accounts in which the KYC process was not done properly and from those accounts, 100's of crores money was being transferred outside the country.
Therefore, after 29th Feb, money will not be deposited in Paytm Bank and also will be able to use other features of Paytm app like UPI, Bill payment, Recharge, etc after 29th Feb.

Truck drivers from various states in India were protesting against the new hit-and-run law, which is part of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. The new hit-and-run law in India, introduced under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, imposes stricter penalties for hit-and-run cases.
The law, which came into effect in 2023, includes the provisions where the driver who flees the scene after a hit-and-run accident can serve upto 10 years of imprisonment and also a fine of 7 lakh.
Truck drivers were protesting against the new law, as they believed that the penalties are too strict and could lead to financial hardship. They have expressed concerns that the law is biased against larger vehicles and fear that it will discourage current drivers and deter new entrants to the profession.

The government has assured the protesting truck drivers that the new law will be revised, and the implementation of the penal provision under the new law will be taken only after consulting with the AIMTC.
