***On the occasion of World Social Justice Day, provides membership to the Transgender people in *****

On this Social Justice Day, Kalpajyoti Foundation raised it's voice against the injustice done with the people of Hijra community. The foundation in which hundreds of boys and girls works as volunteers, provided membership to the transgenders to spread the message that they are equal to any other human being. It is an age old stigma in our society that it doesn't consider the transgenders as equal to others and even after, the government declared the transgender to be the third gender, people are not ready to accept them as they are.
Most of them spend their days in utter misery and unhygienic conditions.
Majority of them are far from the light of education. Even after many transgenders across the world have done exceptionally well, most of them are still lagging behind.

The Founder, president, and CEO of Kalpajyoti Foundation, Sayan Saha said that whether we are men, women, transgenders, we all are children of the same Almighty God so why do we look towards them with hatred. Even they are human like any one of us and have all the rights to establish themselves as the respected people in the society. He enlightened them about the various governor schemes for their development and promised to organise training camps for them, under the banner of Kalpajyoti Foundation.
Many transgenders spoke about the miserable conditions of their life and how difficult it is. Many Hizras participates in the camp with their Guru-maas.
Kalpajyoti Foundation raised it's voice for their rights and tried to spread this message far and wide that no one has the rights to insult someone for being a transgender.
The discussions included tales of Sikhandi of Mahabharata and Ardhanareshwar who are mythological transgender figures. The Foundation gifted them with gifts and love. The volunteers of Kalpajyoti Foundation has made it clear that they have not invited them to show pity but to show the society that even they are human and normal like anyone of us. The executive member of Kalpajyoti Foundation, Tapati Saha, Head of Kalpajyoti Bagribari Branch, Moumita Das and many other personalities were present in the occasion.

Ms Psaki added that the US Government did not feel “it was the Right step to Penalise athletes who had been training for this moment" but that not sending an Official US delegation to the 2022 Games “could send a clear Message”.
