*Current situation in shipping*

1. There are several blank sailings by carriers and thus space issues .

2. Due to less imports from china there is an inventory issue in India

3. Exports from India to USA has increased

4. There are blank sailing from china to USA. So space on connection vessels from far east to uswc has been severely impacted.

5. Rates from china to USA have increased. Thus uswc shipments from india to USA are not preferred to be carried at lower rates by shipping lines.

6. Only 5 major carriers in the world are remaining thus reducing competition amongst shipping lines.

7. Carriers are increasing rates every 15 days due to more demand for space .

8. Inspite of paying a higher rate , space and inventory issues continue to prevail.
